Outdoor seating. Literally a food bus instead of a truck. Very authentic. The carrot slices are pickled and spicy. The roasted peppers were very good. Everything tasted very good.
Picnic tables will tip if you don't even the seating on both sides. Super friendly staff.
Two steps up to order and pick up food which can be hard for people who can't do steps. But it's worth it to give it a try if you like Mexican food. Very generous portions. One of my niece's noticed the lunch menu and her portion was very generous. The rest of us ordered what must have been the dinner portions and we could not finish our meal because there was so much food.
I have to admit when I saw it was a bus and seating was outside at picnic tables, I was a little skeptical but I am so glad that we gave it a try. I do wish I had ordered from the lunch menu. The meal for four of us was $75. It would have been much more reasonable had we ordered lunches. Drinks come in a bottle or can depending on what you order. We noticed that local city employees had stopped for lunch. It must be good if the locals eat there! To be honest, unless you look for it, it would only be locals that visited. It's not something a visitor to the area would drive by and easily see. It's worth the stop if you like authentic...

Taco Bus has some of my favorite tacos in the area. Not only are they delicious, you don't have to pay an outrageous amount of money for them either.
It's your average side-of-the-road food truck experience. Walk up the steps to order, sit and wait, grab your food and eat it in five minutes. If you sit at the tables in front, it does get a little noisy with the cars driving by but it has never been obnoxious by any means.
The food is worth it. We've been to a few taco trucks around town and this is by far our favorite. Depending on the day, we also like to order the special taco plate that comes with 6 tacos with the meat of your choice. It's a great deal!
My go-to options here are the carne asada, al pastor and carnitas. Each of them equally tasty. The only downside is they use pre-made salsa packets instead of homemade salsa.
My husband is a big fan of anything carne asada - tacos, burritos, chimichangas...you name it. And, no matter his choice of the day, he always enjoys his meal. Especially when it comes with a large horchata.
If carne asada fries were on the menu, we'd probably be counted as two of their most...
Read moreWe flew in a little late and found places had already closed. Happily Taco Bus was still serving. Coming from Arizona I thought it was funny that we had come so far to eat at a taco stand. But it’s the real deal! Got their six taco plate and they kindly let you choose different meats. Steak was a standout - as good as I have ever had. Also, their corn tortillas were very very good. I say that as someone who doesn’t especially like corn tortillas, but a few bites in I had to stop and say something. I liked that they had Mexican sodas but I’m a fiend for jamaica and was not disappointed. Service was great. I like they have a display of their number called. Big meals, so consider splitting unless you...
