Awesome.
Background: family of 7 with three celiacs, who’ll end up in the hospital if contaminated. We were traveling through and found a diamond in the rough, the proverbial hole in the wall that was a huge win.
Location: imagine a kitchen and simple deli attached to a convenience store with a three tables pushed together in the back that can fit 8-10. They have a dedicated oven they only use for gluten free food.
Food: Wings, pizza, and subs lol. The convenience store has candy and other items if needed.
The wings they had were safe, and they had like 20 different types of sauce. We stayed safe with mild buffalo. They were baked in the safe oven and not fried. Everyone, including my picky eaters loved them.
The pizza had two options for crust: regular and garlic herb. We went with garlic herb which was awesome. One cheese pizza with half less cheese making my wife happy. One with tomato, mushroom, and olives on one side and pepperoni on the other. Everyone, including the 4 yro, loved it!
Couldn’t tell the pizza was gluten free.
For my gluten eaters: Ate the above and shared a turkey sub. Again, they loved it.
Staff: super accommodating. Answered questions. Got on the phone to verify ingredients. Took about 20 minutes from order to table.
Price: 2 x 12 inch pizzas, 14 wings with celery and gluten free ranch, and a full turkey sub for $38. Are you kidding me? Gluten free, tasted good, and cheap.
So frustrated there’s not a place like this where we live.
Totally left a 50% tip and thanked...
Read moreI've gotten food from this place a few times now and the quality is super inconsistent. Recently, I don't know what the problem is, but it seems to be going down. For example, the meatball sub has absolutely no flavor. The sauce tastes like pureed tomatoes only, the meatballs taste like they don't even have salt, etc. The pizza was much of the same. Flavorless sauce and not much else. I've gotten things there before that were pretty good, especially the buffalo chicken roll, but even that has gone down in quality. It used to be very flavorful and tasty, but the last time I got it it tasted like shredded chicken breast wrapped in pastry with a few drops of Frank's Red Hot put in. Just a few drops. It's really...
Read moreAs a kid I've always loved frizzis pepperoni rolls but since they was bought out and it became the around the world I have been there multiple times and the prices are outrageous and the pepperoni rolls have gotten seemingly worse Everytime. Then I was informed that whoever is now making the pepperoni rolls leaves all the dough and all the other Ingredients exposed to bugs and dirt flying around the store for hours and have been known to even leave them out overnight. A couple relatives of mine have gotten FOOD POISONING after eating the rolls and those little meat and cheese trays. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY "FRESH FOODS" From what I'm told and other obvious reasons the food...
