If you're looking for a good review on fast food in State College, they may not exist. There is a general rule anywhere you go in State College that most places higher college kids that just want a paycheck, not a career, and they dont think that things matter when working in a restaurant. Every time i go to Burger King in State College, it's always very cold. I dont know why, but it's just the way it is. I worked at Papa Johns as a manager for 7 years. That is the busiest Papa Johns on the East Coast, so i understand restaurants. It is not hard to serve fresh hot food it comes down to management doing there job, or not. I go to the Burger King in Bellefonte. I have to admit that it's not worth the money, in my opinion. My wife and I went the other day my wife got a Whopper meal and i got a Whopper just the sandwich and it came to 19$, when i got to the table it was ice cold we barely ate it and you can only complain so many times till it gets to the point where you just dont want it anymore and that is where im at. 20 dollars for a bag of cold food, there was no one in there, and i didn't have to wait, which means it just sat under a heat lamp for who knows how long. You better know what you want when you go in there because Alonna gets frustrated if u ask questions and gets annoyed probably because she had to get back to her drive thru. The second time we were in there this same girl Alonna forgets a hash brown and I said about it and instead of getting it she stands there and wants a confrontation about it. I know what we ordered and she then stands there and makes a scene in front of her manager. She then rips the tray out from my hand slams it over puts a hash brown on it and slams it down on the counter. Had I not been with 2 other people she would’ve been giving me my money back. Before I even enter the building, I have to pass through the stench of cigarette smoke because the employees smoke near the entrance. Once inside, some of the employees are not customer focused and are extremely rude. While standing at the counter waiting for someone to take my order, the employees behind the counter are ignoring me and engaging in their own conversations.
