I give it 2 stars because majority of the time I order it is delivered made wrong or half of what I ordered is not delivered. The making of the food is squarely on the people inside and the delivery is on the driver to make sure the order is all there before they leave. Its been rare that my order is delivered correct and all together without having to make another trip or get "credited" and never actually get the credit. I've worked in food service, so has my husband (who has worked for other pizza companies for 13+ yrs) and I am at a loss of why there is so many issues.
I understand what all it takes in the food industry but if you are satisfied sending out wrong orders or incomplete orders to customers then you need to re-evaluate your standards. I feel like a "karen" every time I call about my order being wrong but what I order is printed right there in big bold letters on the receipt attached to the box. Read moreI used to order from Marco's. All the time love their pizzas. Their subs about 3 weeks ago I ordered some subs and they had a new driver so they went through DoorDash. Took them 2 hours to get my subs to me. The manager credited me the whole amount. She said she couldn't give me my money back. And I says that's fine. I says when I order next time, you know I'll get credit. I call today to place an order to get exactly what I got the last time and. They wouldn't do it, she said it's Their policy. She wanted to know who the manager was. I don't didn't know who the manager was. I didn't know her name and she goes well. We can discount you half of it. I suggest that's not what I was told but I did tell her that if she didn't give me my credit. Because it's $31. I told her that I'll never ever order again and mark my word. I will never order from them again. And I will be calling the regional office and report her. Read moreI really like this pizza place. The food has always been good. I do not want to hold this against them, however cleanliness was a concern for me tonight. I tried to nicely explain my concern and was met with attitude by the employee in question. He came to help me at the counter. After touching his phone, the computer and other items, he proceeded to finish my order without washing his hands. The lady was nice and remade it for me, however the guy seemed pretty upset that I would request washed hands prior to food being touched. He said that “the ovens were 500 degrees” and would not allow for food bourne illness. I was a little taken aback and this is odd considering, it’s standard procedure to wash hands when preparing food, especially at the commercial level.
