Riverside Café — Restaurant in Bellevue Township

It’s a small town diner, good food very limited menu options but not out of the ordinary with meals same food different diner. Besides the home made pie mmmm so many options and very very tasty. I loved the pie that last few time’s chocolate one is my favorite along with cherry pie. The server was good, nice, forgot a couple things but overall was a good experience and I did notice it’s majority of older people and seems they have come in for years the staff and folks new each other by names and had small talk about what’s going on in town or their life’s! Servers seemed genuine about what they talked about. when in town again I will definitely come get some pie. One thing was bothering me and that was all the noise and commotion in the back. They all were yelling over the radio so it wasn’t a quiet environment. But I didn’t notice the outside seating wish I had that was a perfect day to sit outside....

I dont write many of these but this was well deserved. We were driving north to Grand Rapids for our anniversary and stopped here for breakfast based SOLELY on the photos of the French Toast. We were NOT disappointed! Everything was amazing, the stuffed French toast was superb. But the standout of the meal was the Watermelon Jam served with my english muffin. Absolutely delightful! The waitress was really sweet, and made our Anniversary trip amazing from the very beginning of the day!

We will definitely make this a spot to go to on our trips north from now on! I wish I had taken pictures, but I just could not wait...

We stopped here to get a bite to eat and I was looking forward to homemade pie. My daughter got a piece of cherry pie but the filling was mostly a gel type filling with barely any actual cherries at all. After seeing hers I didn't even order any pie. Our meal was ok. Nothing great at all. I was disappointed that the bacon and cheese potato wedges were just 5 over cooked wedges on a plate with some cheese and bacon pieces on top. My water was refilled but none of the other drinks were...
