Mustard Seed Grill & Pub — Restaurant in Bellevue

I live nextdoor, but would travel if i did not live close enough to walk. Some of the most friendly and competent servers and bartenders ive come accrossever in my life. The serverscould very easily be working at 4+5 star establishments not a dive bar. Everyone from host to busers,servers, cooks, bartender, extreamly friendly and go out of their way to make sure your order is beyond your expectations. And if amistake is made they fix itplus some. For instance my blue cheese burger was a tiny bit more cooked than i like it but my server handled it this way she just brought me my replacement burger cooked absolutley perfect she had gone in the kitchen and remade my burger herself. Aswell as my fries and proceeded to bring me an appetizer sampler. She refused to take my payment for the burger and coke, stating she will not have a guest payfor a meal they did not enjoy. She paid for myboth my burgers and had my 2nd favorite meal prepared and ready for me to take home for dinner. When i got my tab the balance said $1.89for my bottomless coke. So all in all i had my blue cheese burger for lunch and the one she had remade me and chicken fettuccine alfredo and garlic bread that she had made me for dinner, long story shortend she had paid for my 2 burgers for lunch and she taking it upon herself to go in the back and make me my favorite dinner just so I could take it home. My bill at the end was a dollar 89 for the bottom of Coke. So she got the 50 bucks i had planned to spend there as a tip. To put the money back in her pocketshe had spent to make me happy. Husband and I were disappointed at our first visit here, but I think we're going to give it another try. Their menu is outdated, overpriced, bland, typical pub food. Nothing to get excited about. I had the fish and chips, husband had the "Downtown Joe" burger ($15!)

Beer list was decent and pints were a decent price.

It was a friday night, but as a former server in the restaurant business, it wasn't really full at all. There were 6-7 empty tables that we could see, so unless they were short-staffed, it was no excuse for the super slow service.

We came in about 6:10pm, sat ourselves as directed, initial server contact was about 5 minutes later (gave us menus), came back almost 10 min later to take our drink order (we ordered two waters, two beers). Another 5-10 before we saw her again and she brought waters, said beers were on their way. Took our food orders. Beers came out a couple minutes later. Food didn't come for about 40 minutes.

We eat out rarely, so when we do, it's important that we are spending our money well. I don't consider this money well spent. If we go back, it will be for drinks and to watch a game, but likely we won't order food (or tell our friends).

Went The Mustard Seed to watch UFC 223. Was a lot of nice people watching the fights. Was told to be careful and not stick around after fight card. People didn’t even wait to see decision of final fight and left. I hung out because I didn’t want to use Uber several times in one night. Waitress treated me like trash. Then, when I went outside to wait for my Uber, was not impressed by treatment from staff, a guy tried to fight me. He punched me, so I shoved him down. Wait staff came out and confronted me, witnesses told them what happened. Wait staff said it was my fault, and multiple people came to my defense. I was told to leave, and I said no worries as I was waiting for my Uber. Person came out to try and fight me again and staff told me they would remember me, as I was instigating. People told them I was only waiting for Uber ride outside. Staff still told me I needed to leave. I did not argue as I was waiting for ride prior to incident. Horrible wait staff and regulars are very rowdy! Don’t expect help from staff, as they will help their regulars, who like to fight. Won’t...
