We haven't been here in awhile and we were really looking forward to the supper club experience we have enjoyed in the past for friday fish fry. We had that expected long wait so we sat at the bar. Bartender Lisa was awesome but the premade old fashioned mix was not, we looked forward to getting seated and enjoying our walleye and perch fish fry. It was very congested in the he bar area like we remembered. We were seated at 5:30 and waitress immediately told us they were already out of walleye. Very disappointing that dinner time just. Began and already I am unable to order the walleye I was looking forward to. We gave her our order and she asked us if we wanted the soup, salad and appetizer first. We said yes thank you. we were very disappointed to not get the supper club experience that is still advertised on your sign. No more salad bar. no more crackers and cheese and pate. A big part of enjoying those Friday night fish fries is being able to have a drink eat slowly and enjoy each other's company. The waitress brought out our soups, salad and appetizer and not 4 minutes later she was already bringing out our fish. I was only half way through a small cup of soup with very little stopping for conversation before the fish was already coming out. The haddock was meh. It was dry and room temperature. I had to put aside my soup in order to eat it before it was completely cold. My date decided to finish his soup and salad which he had barely eaten prior to being brought our fish. I put my bread over his fish to help keep it warm. By the time he was able to eat his perch it was barely warm. We tried to give everyone the benefit of the doubt that the super fast food was just an oopsie until we noticed that the table right next to us had the same issue happen. They were just getting into their salad and already their fish was being served. No walleye, very ok cold haddock. The perch was delicious. The service was good but the food came way to fast and sadly no more appetizer/salad bar anymore. Just a basic mediocre restaurant and not some place I would consider a supper club sadly. Lunches...
Read moreI am an Alaskan that moved here to Green Bay, Wisconsin and my best friend moved from Washington State, Kingston and the Kitsap County area and moved from Washington because of the crime and corruption in that State. Female employees working in the King County Courthouse were being assaulted inside that courthouse. Elderly visitors to the Seattle area are being robbed and one elderly woman visited the Pike Place Market and was punched and died after being in the hospital. Businesses have to deal with homeless encampments in the doorways to their businesses. The State of Washington officials don't deal with Mental Health Issues. Seattle was when I went to North Kitsap High School and to the University of Washington and Tacoma Community College a great safe place to live. Now it is more dangerous than New York City, Chicago or our nations Capitol, Washington DC. I can't believe crime is worse than Chicago. I was so pleased to discover this restaurant, the cleanest I have seen yet in Green Bay. The restaurant was so clean you could eat off the floor. The service was the greatest, the food was fantastic and I am so greatful that our friend from church recommended it. Eating Perch for the first time in my life was the best and the taste of the meal was best ever. We had the greatest waitresses and it will be a place where we will take people out to eat. To the owners, you have the best staff and I cannot wait to taste your Clam Chowder on Friday and take someone to dinner there. You All deserve a raise! Respectfully, Jerry Cserepes and...
Read moreWe had a reserved table for a party of 10, food was decent..but the service we had from our waitress was just bad overall. She seemed very annoyed and impatient with all of us. (We also asked for two high chairs, and just ended up getting them ourselves). Even after we had gotten our food, she never once checked back up on us. We ended up having somebody else help us get more napkins. Which is sad because there werenât many people left either, and she seemed occupied doing other things instead of checking up on all of us. She didnât even ask us âhow is everything tastingâ, like how most waiters and waitresses would. (In which, I personally wished we had the sweet lady that complimented all three of our babies).
But the one thing that also bothered us, was when we were done and finished and about to pay our bill, that waitress was even pestering and rushing the older lady working the register for her tip right in front of us.
The automatic tip was understandable for a large party, but honestly, she definitely did NOT deserve it. And personally, I wouldnât even want to go back to that place because of her. I hope she rethinks and realizes what she could have done better. And I even hope she gets talked to because it is rude and unacceptable. If you CANNOT handle such a large party, donât take it, hand it to somebody else. Absolutely absurd.
I will never go back to this place. Truly an awful dining experience. And I never leave bad review....
