Found this diner close to the tracks⦠literallyšI was with my wife and we were saying as soon as we walked in what a cool diner. As we perused the menu I saw many things that I wanted on the menu so I said to her I needed to try their burger. My wife says, ābut you have to get the chiliā, and of course Iām in Ohio on a search for who has the best chili. Anyways, did not even try to take photos because the look of the chili was too good looking, oh and neither one of us had our phone. Even if I wanted to take a photo the car was too faršæI did not want to take the first bite because after the first 12 bowls at the other establishments, I couldnāt bare another horrendous bite of chiliš§āāļø . So I offered the first bite to my wife so if it was gross at least in her mouth and not minešShe said it was good and therefore I took a bite, hey just cuz the presentation is everything does not mean itās good. Come on people wake upš Anyways presentation was not only everything and the chili has the best secret ingredient everš¤ if you want to find out what that is go there. Oh what else can I tell you about Tracks End tracks end is home to some of the finest people that help this country run. Because they can't keep staff there is no consistency in the orders. The food is different each time you order it. It depends on the cooks interpretation of the menu, which can be a little frustrating. I've found that I have to explain how I want the food prepared in detail to get it right. For example a breakfast scramble is supposed to have bacon and ham mixed in but you might have it cooked and placed on the side. Or a chef salad may have different proportions of meat or cheese or a little ranch or alot lol Not necessarily a big deal it's just to say that if you order it one time and then order it again it may not be the same..... I prefer not to have my chef salad over powered by green peppers. All in all it's "decent" food for being the only option in a city that shuts...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI hate to only give 1 star but my experience has changed drastically since when I use to come here, the server was nice but the cook had an attitude with everything, the food that was brought to us wasnāt even close to what we ordered, we could hear the cook talking bad about our order, took over an hour and a half to get our food that was close to what we ordered, very rarely do I ever send food back even if itās wrong and I never blame the staff because we all make mistakes but the lack of care and being able to hear what was being said about us will probably ensure that we find a new place to go on the weekends, we were served hash browns and veggies that were just warmed up in a microwave, not cooked at all, I only know this because before being served it basically raw, she made it very obvious she didnāt...
