takos — Restaurant in Bellflower

I started following Grub with Greg on Instagram and he posted these amazing looking rolled tacos. We had nothing better to do so we rolled in, as did many other people that follow Greg. We made some new friends in line and had great conversations about where to eat.

Tako’s is VERY small so plan to eat in your car or in the park across the street if you aren’t lucky enough to score a table. There’s also a liquor store next door where you can by your beverage of choice, if you’re following me.

I ordered the plate of rolled tacos, hubby got the cup. He’s not a fan of cabbage so he liked mine better when it came to the toppings but both were excellent choices and we would highly recommend them.

We will come back to try other menu items but you can’t go wrong with the cup or plate of rolled...

Spend $40 at this spot today because I had it on a date yesterday and wanted to show my family how delicious this place was. But today was definitely horrible, ordered keto tacos and keto quesadilla AGAIN and the cheese was no longer orange crispy chessy delicious, but brown and burnt, as well as flautas for my father and was expecting soft flour tortilla but they were taquitos hard shelled made of corn. I called to complain and the cook/cashier/clerk told me he didn't know who the manager was and that their flautas were made of corn.. so they are taquitos. Will call back later to get refunded or...

Came across this place on Postmates and sooo sooo good! They have Quesa tacos which is a fried cheese shell instead of a tortilla shell which is different and delicious! I loved the taco fundido, chipotle salsa and poblanos peppers made it tasty! Also carnitas is my favorite and instead of shredded they have diced pieces which are crispy and not dry at all!

I think the only things they fall short on is the horchata and the salsas. But I think the quality food items make up for that.

Hella recommend this place and to call in your order since they are starting to get busy with all the hype...
