First time trying out this location. Drive thru entrance is off the side street (next to the park). We waited at the window for 5 minutes until someone finally approached the window to charge us and let us know our order was be ready shortly. That could have been done as soon as we pulled up but we figured they were either busy or behind, even a greeting would have been nice. We ordered The Slim Wrap, The Classic & a regular ice coffee. Our food was freshly made and piping hot but was disappointed when I tried my ice coffee two blocks down and it was a Vanilla flavored ice coffee that was way too sweet. I love vanilla ice coffee but this vanilla was overwhelming sweet with very little coffee flavor and very little ice. *would not recommend The wraps were more of a decent size burrito except the tortillas were way too thin. (Do they even make these there?? Or just the other ones because that is literally what they advertise **HOMEMADE TORTILLAS) The Slim wrap is just scrambled eggs (I would order egg whites) spinach, potatoes, onions & tomatoes. Its not bad at all if you don't eat salt & pepper because that all it was missing but it came with a green and red salsa that was absolutely delicious. It was just the right amount of spicy, tangy, and a bit salty (for some) but complimented the wrap well. The classic came with chorizo and frankly it wasn't all that different than a homemade burrito but again that red salsa was the cherry on top. They have vegan & vegetarian options which is great but the salsas were the star on this trip. Excited to try other items on their menu that go well with their red & green salsas. This location was formerly known as Lickity Splitz, and it used to be my favorite spot when I was a kid. I often got a banana split or chili cheese fries and played basketball at Thompson Park across the street. Unfortunately, Lickity Splitz closed down years ago, and El Torazo, a Mexican restaurant with a unique twist on Mexican cuisine, replaced it. I have visited this place many times and always go for their tacos because they are large and full of flavor. Today, I dropped by for a quick snack as I wasn't very hungry but needed something to keep me going through the afternoon. It was around 1 pm on a Wednesday, and a few customers in the restaurant appeared to be employees taking their lunch break. I ordered a small drink with a Mexican Taco Al pastor, which totaled around $8 with a tip. I ordered only one because I remembered they were big, and two tacos would have been too much for me. My taco took about 5 minutes to prepare and bring to my table. When my taco arrived, I was surprised that it was a standard tortilla size but filled with al pastor meat. One thing I like about this place is that all their tortillas are handmade, giving the food an authentic Mexican flavor. The al pastor meat was perfectly cooked and flavorful, and the tortilla was hot and freshly made. Even though it was a regular-sized taco, it was pretty filling because of the thick tortillas and generous meat filling. In conclusion, I will keep coming back to El Torazo. They offer excellent customer service and serve delicious, flavorful food that carries on the tradition of my childhood favorite restaurant, Lickity Spliz.

The food is consistent and fresh. Overall notable flavors. I would recognize their flavor profile and presentation if someone randomly brought me a meal. Street Taco: Carne asada. I asked them to chop the meat up a lot so what the picture is showing is not the norm for the meat. It was missing the onions but other than that it was really tasty with the green salsa. Taco Roll: It comes as three per order. You are allowed to mix so I got 2 chicken and 1 shredded beef. I do not like cotija cheese on the taco rolls. Again, it tastes great with the green and red salsas. If you are in the area, it may be worth a try. Note: The drive-thru is terribly narrow. I hope this was helpful. #follow

Once again messed up my order. I placed a pick up order through uber eats at around 10:05pm-10:10pm. I received a notification that my order was ready for pick up (15mins later). I got there and of course once again it wasn't ready at all. They had my Strawberry agua fresca(no ice) and my milkshake sitting on the counter instead of having them inside their fridge like they normally do. So, from where I was standing I could see my shake half way already melted. My husband's milkshake was not even made yet. One of the girls making them was just walking around with the blender on her hand like she was clueless. I arrived there at 10:32pm, 10 mins passed by and it was still not being made. I received my order at almost closing time. There was only a couple there waiting for their cone ice cream which btw waiting for like 10 mins for just scooped ice cream seems too long specially cause they had no customers. When I received my order my shake was completely melted and my agua fresca was warm and it was definitely not made that same day how they claim to be. My husband did get a perfect shake though. It took them 45-50mins to serve one drink in a cup and make 2 shakes. Super disappointed cause we love the food and shakes...
