We’ve been here several times as it’s close to home. Food has always been good. Last night our experience was not so good. Service was painfully slow and the food was not very good. We sat the the bar and i noticed on a Thursday night at 5pm there were only a hand few of people at tables or at the bar. We got drinks which took forever. When we finally ordered after waiting 15 minutes it took about 45 minutes for the food to arrive. We ordered nachos, pork tacos and another meal. The other two were ok, but the nachos had almost no cheese, a pile of lettuce a small dab of sour cream, no guacamole and no salsa. We didn’t complain because we didn’t feel like waiting another 45 minutes while the others in the party ate their meal. This is the first time I’ve gotten nachos here as I usually get the beef burrito. There were more waitstaff then there were patrons the whole time we were there so I don’t understand the service delay. Sadly, we will drive to concord for our Mexican fix from now on. As I mentioned, a Thursday night and the place being empty should have been our first hint that things have...

I have been going here since they opened use to be my favorite place to go... last night our service sucked! Wasn't packed plenty of help... just none attending to customers! We were there for at least 10 mins before chips were brought another 5 someone finally asked if we wanted drinks even tho we were ready to order and at that point probably knew their menu better than them! Our empty glasses sat at the end of the table for a refill for ever and our food finally shows up and he says enjoy and runs away... we never got a refill and he hadn't come by for a half an hour.... finally he shows up and we asked for boxes and the check he took his sweet time to bring us the check finally asking if he could get us anything probably realizing how much he ignored us.... this was the worse service I've had anywhere. They have been slowly declining since they opened the other location... they need better help the food has even gone down hill take a trip to casamigos in Tilton much better food and service I think it will be a while till we...

Visited on Cinco de Mayo. Fantastic experience! A little bit of a wait as it was very busy, so I got a drink from the bar. I couldn’t believe how quickly we were served and bartender was very friendly. Atmosphere was fun and upbeat, good music and free gifts were handed out (t shirts, coozies, etc) when we sat down we were immediately greeted with chips and salsa. Our server was Jordan, and let me tell you he provided the best service I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Knowledgeable about the menu and patient. We got a Mocahete- it was hands down the best one I’ve ever had. Came out steaming, quite an experience! It’s my go to dish at restaurants because it’s essentially a bit of everything. I also got a spicy watermelon margarita- phenomenal. Overall my fiance and I both agreed it was one of our best restaurant experiences and hands down the best Cinco de Mayo we ever had! Thank you to every member of the staff, the food came out quick and everyone was...

The day we went, July 6, 2023, the AC unit was broken, but it wasn't too bad. Food was outstanding. My husband and I eat Mexican food frequently in our home area (Nashua, NH La Caretta, Tequila's in Groton, MA and Xtapa in Hudson, MA). This was our first trip to El Jimador. My husband had the Burrito Grande with steak and he said it was the best burrito he has ever eaten. I ordered the Tacos Carne Asada and it was very good. We cheeped out and ordered house margaritas, but they were very good too. Our poor waiter/bartender was very attentive in the beginning, but as we were eating he got slammed and we had to wait awhile for our check. As I said, he was very attentive in the beginning but being slammed and short staffed he did the best he could.

Food was not great. They put my crispy taco right on top of the rice ensuring the whole thing was soggy and limp moments after making it to the table. The rice was definitely overcooked. My wife's old fashioned cocktail was 90% ice and tasted like watered-down Coca-Cola. They also screwed up my order and gave me a enchilada with my combo plate instead of the toastada I ordered. And finally, the "hot sauce" at every table (Apparently a local concoction) was probably the worst thing I have ever had in the "hot sauce" category. It's basically tropical fruit juice mixed with maple syrup and ghost pepper. I don't plan to come back. Oh, and service was slow and inconsistent to boot.
