Plum Creek Restaurant — Restaurant in Beloit

Plum Creek is the most popular place in Beloit, we came here for dinner after working on site for 11 hours, from out of town. I had the chicken fried steak and fries and a house salad, my teammate had medium rare steak, shrimp, baked potato and house salad. I asked for onion to be put on the salad and they obliged. It took a long time for our waitress to come to us and after our order it took over an hour for food to get there. The reatsurant is pretty big,lots of tables and booths. We noticed that take out orders are very popular. We saw multiple trips of take out boxes every few minutes, i wiuld say at least 25 boxes. And there were a lot of people waiting in line all the time. I think sometimes people actually sitting in the restaurant, may wait a while for their food because of the take out orders. They use packets for salt, pepper, ketchup and mustard. I was undecided between 3 and 4 stars. There's not a lot to look at in the restaurant, I would think if they are going to take so long to deliver food, they may want to get some decorations or some TVs. After working for so many hours I found myself getting sleepy towards the tail end of waiting...

Plum Creek is a family favorite for us and we enjoy their delicious ribeye steaks along with their sides. Although, the past couple times we’ve been to Plum Creek, the service has drastically declined. On one occasion we were a party of 6 and we had to wait 20-30 minutes to sit down, and there was plenty of seats available. There was a limited menu and we couldn’t order what we originally planned. Then it took an hour to get our food. The second incident is much more frustrating. We ordered take out meals and was missing 3 sides that we ordered and paid for. I made a respectful complaint on their Facebook page. Immediately it was taken down and nobody reached out to me in a private message or replied to the comment. I found this very disrespectful to their customers and don’t think anyone should be treated this way. I reached out to them in a private message letting them know that was very disrespectful to a loyal customer and they replied saying they would make it right. Unfortunately they never offered anything to make it right and we paid for a product we didn’t receive plus disrespected. This is no way to treat...

Got the buffalo wings, pepperjack bites and rattlesnake pasta. The marinara sauce only tasted like sage; a major let down. Same with the pasta. The only flavor in the pasta was sage. It literally tasted like I poured a spoonful of sage directly into my mouth. I had to throw it all away as inedible: a waste of over $25. The buffalo wings were way spicier than most, definitely a now go unless you really, really like very spicy food. Not sure if this is the norm or not, but certainly will think twice before getting anything here and will never get these...
