Little John's Pizza — Restaurant in Belvidere

If anyone's wonder why it's hard for this place to keep employees and delivery drivers I will tell you what I think it's the reason. This people are cheats, they screwed people out of their pay. Yes, Im a disgruntled employee, they promised me $12 an hr. And after two weeks and almost an empty store and no costumers they start complaining about the quality of my work. Cut my hrs and saying that they weren't busy enough. I mean if someone is not doing a good job you don't need two weeks to find it out. Almost by the end of the second week (Saturday) I had enough and I quit. I worked 15 hrs. When I went to get pay on thursday the following week the lady say she didn't have enough money. She handled me $100 And told me that was all I deserve. $100 for 15 hrs come up to about $6.66 per hr. Something that I complaint a lot about was her chain smoking inside the premises and in the kitchen. I told her many times that smoking wasn't allow inside business in NJ and that smoke was making me sick and she always said I was exagerating. You can smell cigarette smoke as soon as you come trough the front door.So to the people looking for work at this place be aware that you may not get the paid that you been promised. Okay so I will say the pizza I had was pretty decent. That being said, we actually walked in and made an order to sit down and eat. It was some young boy and girl behind the cash register. They took the order we paid for it and went and sat down. It started taking a while and sitting here wondering what's going on. After like half an hour this old lady walks out oh are you guys waiting for something she says to us. Like yeah like half an hour ago we came over and ordered a personal pizza and a Caesar salad and she's like oh um ah ok. Apparently my pizza was sitting on top of the oven for like the last 15 minutes. She brought it over after taking it out of the box and putting it on a tray because we were eating there. We asked about the salad just to find out that they didn't even know we ordered a salad even though it was on my receipt even though we paid for it. So she had to go back and make the salad. How do they not know about the salad when they were standing right there when me and my wife made the order. How did they not know that personal pizza was for us when we told them we want to order to eat in. What is going on here with communication??

And I know it's a pizza place but you can get an air conditioner. It was really freaking...

to be honest I have to sort of convince my mom to stop here but that it is only because it is a total hidden gem of sorts. my mom has never been more pleased with a pizza crust in her life. I tend to prefer a bit of charring, but this is so light, airy, and tasty that I gotta admit I changed my mind. we got a white garlic pie and despite there not being sliced garlic cloves (we had been able to acquire that elsewhere), my mom and I both agreed that this was a better pie than the one with those, overall. the ricotta on it = so awesome. we also ordered a ham and mozzarella stromboli (small size; but trust me the portion is quite massive). there def was a good number of minced garlic baked into the pie, by the way. her first stromboli, and she couldn't have been happier. they also have classic film/show scenes on the wall which does lend to a cool atmosphere. I will probably edit this review to include pictures of how the leftover pie holds up, so good that I will most likely eat it cold.
