Skoogy's Deli & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Belvidere

Poor poor poor service! I just went there with my sister like I usually do after her games and the lady there today was very very rude! She waited on other customers before us that came in after us... When she finally asked to help us I told her we wanted ice cream which she told us they didn't do ice cream... The sign says they do and I know for a fact they do... She then went on to tell us that they only had hard ice cream but we would have to wait because she didn't have the time to help us... We turned right around and walked out... I don't care how long of a day you've had or how stressed you may be... You are always polite and courteous to the customer... I wish I could speak to the manger because this lady does not deserve her job if she...

Best customer service here! The owner has literally re-opened his store on more than one occasion for me to just run in and buy cigarettes (I arrived after closing but he was still there). He's hooked my kid up with free candy before and all the cashiers that I've seen are all nice and quick. I highly suggest going to this Skoogys. It's got a small town vibe and makes you feel like an important customer. I'd rather support this store than a corporate place. They got everything from Deli food service..ice cream..tobacco and...

I lived in belvidere for most of my childhood and teens years, skoogies was always pretty solid. The breakfast sandwiches are kinda grim though now. The bacon wasn’t cooked just raw stringy fat pieces, it was nasty honestly. This is a breakfast sandwich it’s not hard, fry an egg, cook the bacon crispy, and throw it on a sandwich with cheese. Hope you guys get it figured out cause I’ve always been a fan of skoogies and the family....
