I enjoyed the food and had a good server. Bit surprised to be served Butter with the Bread being the type of Restaurant is Atialan. Luckily I decided to have basic Oil and Vinegar on my Salad, luckily the Oil was Olive. Appropriately I made a little Oil and Spice from the Pepper and Salt to dip my Bread into, in the small dish to use before the main dishes were served. Worked out well. The Veal Cutlet was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. Zeety was slightly cold around the edges. Thier Red Saus was slightly acidaty and needed to be adjusted with a strong base like Suger or maybe even some Raisons to cut the acid, saus was quite hot, enjoyable to have hot food for hot food. The saus did help the Zeety heat up.
My Salad was enjoyable, tasted like it was made with fresh ingredients.
Thier Grated Cheese was finely grated and was in a small shaker. When I tried to get some out by shaking, it didn't work out well, so I took the Cover off of the jar and then plenty came out. Seemed to be fresh Cheese, slightly moist, tasted well.
Chose to be seated in the Bar area since the main table area had a slightly noisy party eating and the place has some acoustics when only a few patrons are present and the Bar Tables were empty. Perfect for taking photos without disturbing the other patrons. The eating areas were set up quite nicely and were pleasingly to the eye. Nicely decorated not over done.
Place started to fill up when it was time for me to check out. This means enough vehicles are in the parking lot. That usually suggests that the food is good, if not people would not want to return for a bad meal, correct?
The menu is also the placemat for your Seating. What a perfect concept, always wondered if those plastic covered menus were cleaned from their previous use. I have seen other establishments wipe off theirs.
If you were meeting someone, it looked like a very comfortable couple of chairs just inside the entrance to use while you were waiting.
Plenty of room for parking and there's a ramp up for people who have a hard time walking.
I need your help. Please check the Like button if you read all this and checked out my photos.
Thanks, Mr....
Read moreWhat a hidden gem! We accidentally drove past last night and decided to turn around, the parking lot was packed at 530 great sign right? Had to park way out back because it was packed, automatically start to think it must be good right? We were pleasantly greeted and seated immediately. While waiting a few minutes, we looked over the very basic but home style Italian menu! Basic but amazing! We had the fried raviolis as an appetizer, absolutely amazing homeade raviolis. Left us wondering if something so simple could be that good how was the main course gonna be? The waitress brought out outer salads, wow so fresh and so basic, but yet so good! Quickly it was followed up with our main courses. Chicken parm with ziti and Cajun Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. I can't even start to explain how fresh the Alredo tasted, so creamy and flavorful! The red sauce and the hand breaded Chicken cutlet, so amazing! The chicken had an amazing crunchy outer crust and juicy on the inside! We can't recommend this restaurant enough. Unfortunately it's off the beaten path and away from main cities. But if you happen by, or looking for something new, absolutely...
Read moreWorst restaurant experience ever! Got there, nice and cool outside (high 60's). Inside hot and stuffy, no windows open. We were seated, and were not acknowledged for at least 10 minutes. Hostess and bus girl were too busy on there phones to help the waitress and at least get us water. Finally ordered drinks which took forever. I asked if the white clam sauce was made in house. Was told yes... Fresh every day! So I ordered it. Was told they only had spaghetti and penne (In an Italian Restaurant?!?!?). Ordered it anyway (on spaghetti). I then noticed a special that was served with fettuccine... Asked if I could have the fettuccine with the clam sauce instead.... waitress had to ask, but it was finally approved! Girlfriend got baked penne. Other friend got chicken parm. Food was awful!!! Clam sauce tasted like olive oil and canned clams! I had to ask for garlic and salt to season it. Sauce on the penne tasted like a can of tomato paste (with the same consistency!) Chicken was tough and none of the food was hot. Would never eat there again, and have turned people away since my experience. Service, Food, and Atmosphere......
