Nate's Stumble Inn — Restaurant in Bennington

My kids and I went into Nate’s about 8:30 on a Sunday night after a day of baseball games. We’re from out of town and we were starving and had a long drive ahead. I was worried it would be an inconvenience coming in so close to their closing time of 9pm but it was not and were immediately greeted and welcomed to sit down and order by the waitress. She came by and got our drink order, my daughter and I had a margarita and a cherry limeade (alcoholic) both great but the limeade was PHENOMENAL! We placed our food order and it was served in a timely manner. Everything we had was great, cheeseburger, bacon cheeseburger, Swiss mushroom burger, fries and onion rings. We were very impressed, I’m usually kind of picky about my burgers and fries but they were awesome and all of us loved them. And seriously the waitress was amazing and nice. Overall fantastic,...

We had a surprise birthday party at Nate's this month. I have to say, during the whole planning and actual party, I couldn't have been happier with the service we got. Their manager even took time on her day off to finish the planning and preparation. Their prices were very reasonable, their food was great, in general they were very flexible and accommodating. The bar tender assigned to our party was great! She kept track of our food, she kept track of our tab, she was always smiling, she helped clean up even though it was our responsibility. My only concern is that we didn't tip her enough. She was great.

Very delicious food! I have had the prime rib, ribeye, and also the NY strip steak. All of them have been VERY flavorful the times I have had them. We have been taking advantage of the curb side pickup during the pandemic and the food is still great. The mashed potatoes with the gravy are good too but I think the baked potato goes better with the ribeye and the steaks. The veggie (corn or green beans) side is okay. Kinda wished that they could dress it up a little with a corn casserole or even add some bacon to the beans(or have a baked bean sidedish) but I am usually full after eating the meat & potato. :-) Will still definitely order from this place...
