Quite a few sandwich makers think as long as they throw the food out fast that it doesn't matter if its good. I had never known who the manager was as she has never worn any sort of name tag. Today I found out who it was by accident. I told her of our problems getting good sandwiches and rather than ask which employees were not doing their job, she was defensive saying people tell her they come in to this particular subway because they made such good food. SMILE Uhuh. Bottom line is this large family often travels to another town to buy subway because the store 2 blocks from our home is very much not stellar. Way to brag on being the manager, though your lack of pride on being a good manager and having your employees do their job properly is very telling about you. Subway, whether it's a corporate location or a franchise is supposed to make all sandwiches the same way. Every. Single. Time. It gives customers the consistency we want and have come to expect from the brand. Our family averages 2 sandwiches each a week, so around 55 sandwiches a month and we get maybe 2 or 3 from your location. 🤷‍♀️ Be rude and prideful and don't learn. Don't teach your employees the correct way, it doesn't matter to me. For the 4th time I have been in subway and this time I will never return. I spent 10 minutes explaining to a young kid which bred I wanted. I was kind and patient till he slammed my bread on the counter. My wife kindly asked the lady for the managers number and the lady was rude. She said you have to wait cause I can’t give you that info. Funny how it’s on the door of the building. If you keep messing with the locals in a small town all the business will walk.    Read moreI was traveling back home to the Seattle area and used my app to order ahead. I arrived at the facility which appeared to be clean and well kept. I waited in line behind a couple of old guys who were joking and talking with the young man behind the counter. He was very engaged, paid attention to what he was doing and overall left me with a good feeling about this establishment. Once it was my turn, he was very attentive in finishing up my order and making sure everything was just right.
