Great little place! Very, very good food. I had both the sausage and bacon gravy, you should too. The pancakes are absolutely delicious, and as thick as a box of matches! The service was fabulous-Ms. Tina was very attentive,and the yummy food came out really quick.. What makes this place special isn't just the food or even the service, it's the people that come and dine here. At one table are four men solving the problems of the world, one light hearted argument at a time, at another table is couple just getting started in life, and at another table is a couple who's life together has seen many elections, trials, and excitement. I’m a fan of diners. I am disappointed in the breakfast my wife and I shared here. We went in late around 10am for breakfast. The bacon was old and stale. Reheated in the microwave. The fried potatoes were soaked with oil and it tasted like raw cooking oil. The gravy was served in thin plastic bows like you serve your kids cereal in. The gravy had a film on it. The eggs were the only thing fresh and unfortunately they tasted of oil as well. Gave it a chance. I won’t be back. Takes just a few more minutes if care to make fresh bacon and good potatoes. Had the "chicken fried steak" today. It was smaller than the meat in a McDonalds hamburger. Tiny. Dry. No taste. The Brussels were soggy. And the cornbread was hard as a hockey puck. Chicken fried steak should always be half the size of the plate or bigger. It was noon when we are there, so the food should have been fresh and tasty. It was definitely not. Total disappointment. The server was friendly. Only reason I have this place more than 1 star. Way overpriced for the food I received....
