Larry's Pizza Salem — Restaurant in Benton

I normally like Larry's Pizza, and we order here a lot, but when you get home to find out that you did not get what you ordered and you drive 30 minutes each way to get there at today's gas prices, well... The person on the phone wanted me to drive back to get a correction. Nope. That means the other one will be cold by the time I get back and I've wasted my time and gas. They said they would remember to tell the Mgr. for my next order, and that's all I get. They can't remember what I ordered, and what does this mean anyway? Remember for what? I'm not holding my breath. For the price I pay to choose them over other local options, this has soured me. The pizza I got was a lesser value than what I ordered and paid for. They weren't even busy. Editing my review because I shouldn't have done it while I was so aggravated. There is enough negativity these days w/o me adding to it. As a rule, the pizza has always been very good and this was the first time I've ever had a problem. My practice from now on will be to check my order before I leave. Best pizza around! They always load on the toppings, fresh and uniformly spread, and take custom requests on anything. The owner is uniquely passionate and dedicated, caring about her customers’ experiences and even going as far as offering personal recommendations and substitutions. The staff is attentive and welcoming, smiles all around. I’m always happy walking out the door, and the drive home usually ends with a couple slices missing from the box!! It’s my “GO-TO” pizza...

It was busy. Came to pickup a DD order. Walked in. They said a few minutes. Waited 10 minutes. They said it was in the oven. Waited another 15 minutes. They said almost ready. Right as the pizza was ready… the salad wasn’t… So had to wait another 5 minutes. Just the empty words from a service standpoint. Don’t say it’s almost ready...
