BBQ King — Restaurant in Bentonville

Had a very disappointing experience. I ordered food and they said it would be ready in 20 minutes. I reached there after 30 minutes and food was still not ready. The receptionist told me to wait for five minutes. After waiting there for 20 more minutes, i went to the counter to ask how much more i need to wait as my kids were crying and i needed to go back home. When i asked the receptionist, he completely ignored me. I kept standing there , he was doing nothing and attending only two calls. I kept standing there, after five minutes, i asked him again and he still ignored me. I picked my kids up and started to leave, then he said five more minutes. I told him that I didn’t like his unprofessional behavior, as he could just say that he is sorry for delay and my food would be ready, but instead of feeling responsible for his behavior, he simply said he is busy with other costumers but i could see he was not busy. I left without food. I was not mad that they told me the food would be ready in 20 minutes and made me wait an hour, i was mad at the service. The receptionist had no manners how to deal with customers. I am never going to this place because there are other places with good food where they respect the customer. Great respect for the owner of the restaurant and its staff members! Not only did they have good food (for me, it was tandoori chicken wings), but great service and a nice halal atmosphere. Plus, they gave me some free sugar cane juice out of nowhere (maybe cause I was a first timer). No music (which is haram in Islam), no alcohol or haram food. And to top it off, they had some Islamic brochures which were around a big Quran book, which definitely attracts people. This is probably the first restaurant I saw in the US that does dawah. The place was absolutely incredible! I ordered a two-piece Chicken Tikka Leg with a side of Biryani rice, yogurt sauce, and a stuffed Naan bread filled with paneer. I'd easily give this place a 10 out of 10. The owner's commitment to quality is evident, as he sources high-quality ingredients from his own meat shop right next door. I even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was incredibly kind. Our server and the owner surprised us with complimentary homemade ice cream that was absolutely divine. I'll definitely be returning often!"
