KFC — Restaurant in Benwood

I think this is one of the best KFC restaurants we have in the whole valley. Try the new chicken nuggets they are irresistible. I ordered them last night and before I ordered I asked the cashier if they were crispy or original recipe and she said well the best way would be just to show you so she turns around and goes to the back and comes back her out with two nice size newly cooked right out of the fryer delicious chicken nuggets for me to try and for my fiance as well that's why there were two. Anyway I have never had anyone at a fast food restaurant especially offer me a sample but they did and guess what they made a sale for it because I ordered them because they are delicious they're white meat chicken they are not processed meat in any way they are super delicious I can't go on about how great they were I didn't even use any kind of sauce or anything they were just great by themselves. But every time I've ever visited this restaurant in particular I have never been dissatisfied with the quality or with the service of this particular restaurant so giving you guys some props you're doing a great job keep it up and I'll keep coming back. I would recommend it to anyone especially after the experience I had with the restaurant on the island. But that has nothing to do with this one. I just want to take a moment to recognize Ian, who works at the KFC in Benwood, West Virginia. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this young man truly deserves it. From the moment I stepped in, Ian went above and beyond to help me with my order. He was incredibly helpful, kind, and respectful — and honestly, he saved me from spending nearly $50 by patiently walking me through some better-value meal options. His knowledge of the menu, paired with his maturity and professionalism, was impressive — especially considering he’s still in high school.

It’s rare to see that level of customer care and thoughtfulness from anyone, let alone someone so young. Ian carries himself with a calm confidence and attentiveness that reflects extremely well on your team. He made me feel valued as a customer and genuinely improved my experience.

Employees like Ian are the kind that keep people coming back. I truly hope management sees what an asset he is to the store — he’s already working at a level beyond what’s expected. Went through the drive thru the other day and ordered for myself and 2 kids. Firstly, the girl taking the order was rushing me and not friendly at all. Overhead her talking to someone else about her ride being there so she could leave. The one taco for a kid was thrown in the bag, not wrapped up and upside down. As soon as I grabbed it, everything fell out and into the bag. I ordered the 3pc tender meal. Realized on the way home they never asked if I needed sauce. Guess I didn't need it after all because they gave me a breast and 2 wings instead, which I don't like. Then to top it off, my Pepsi was almost clear and was mainly the carbonate with no syrup.
