Yesterday's Restaurant — Restaurant in Berkeley Township

As a business owner and someone that has given the restaurant several opportunities to redeem themselves, I find it very unfortunate how we were treated on our last visit. The bartender confronted my significant other because of a review that was left. It expressed how wonderful the tender was. It was in a confrontational manner, which is not how it should have went imo. If they asked hey how can we improve your experience here or something along those lines I would not have posted this review. When you have minimal to no customers in the bar/dining area on a daily basis this was a very bad decision and we will not be back. Period. It's a shame, we have been going there many years, I have had company parties there, and this was the straw that broke the camels...

tried the restaurant a few times, each time it was worst then the last. The last time service and food was horrible! The waitress excuse for not knowing the menu was because she usually worked the later shift. O.k. still no excuse for terrible service and food. The salad bar was old and dirty looking and not much of a selection. I ordered fish when FINALLY SERVED ;COLD MUSHY AND GRAY IN COLOR. MY KIDS PASTA WAS SWIMMING IN NASTY SAUCE THE PASTA WAS HARD. We were told there was nothing that could be done since we had ate bread and ate from the salad bar. We paid our bill will not be going there every again. We had our Mom's 90th birthday lunch/ dinner at yesterday's. Silvia the owner was friendly and very thoughtful with our needs. Jenna was our server/ bartender. Friendly. Courteous, funny, and a hard worker. In most of my reviews I mention how important the server / bartender is to making your shindig successful or not. Well.....Jenna was fantastic. 5 star young lady with a 5 star work ethic. The Buffet was excellent. Thank you Sylvia. Jenna is an asset to the Yesterday team. As a family party or a nice dinner with my wife, we will be back. We will see Jenna when our grandson plays basketball against her High School this year. Sincerely...
