I was working around the area so I stopped in for a latte. I love supporting small businesses. It's a very cute place.
Unfortunately, I had a bad experience. I was greeted with blatant attitude from the worker at the register. I asked for an iced latte with cinnamon and honey. The female worker at the register said, "a mitten latte", I said what's that? "Cinnamon and honey" (with pure attitude as if I should be an expert on a mitten latte), I said, "it's actually called a cafe Miel but sure." And I asked again to make sure, "it's just honey and cinnamon no syrup concoction correct? "Yes."
I got the latte and I didn't taste any cinnamon. I asked if they could add more cinnamon. Most of the time you get a cafe Miel and you see the cinnamon. The same worker with her attitude, "it won't mix! If I put it on the top." I get where she is coming from but a good cafe Miel you use honey and legit just cinnamon and most of all places put a ton of cinnamon so yea it does get sometimes clumped at the top and that's why I like it. So she takes a shaker with pure sugar crystals and apparently there was cinnamon in it,that I couldn't tell you. She started shaking the "rock candy" in the latte. It was gross. But the attitude and it was just her the others were quiet. This is why I don't want to try new places anymore especially with the rising costs of everything. My coffee cake was caked with sugar crystals and dry, as well. Just disappointed in the interaction more than anything, I hope she's having a...
Read moreWe are new in the area and wanted to check out the local coffee place some were telling us about. I want to start off by saying the coffee was amazingly good! But the service/workers had the WORST attitudes I think I’ve witnessed. We came around 8:30AM, not too busy surprisingly and from the the jump me and my husband did not feel welcomed at all here, no “hello” or any type of emotion came from the three girls behind the counter. I saw a drink on their Facebook page that looked great so I asked them if they could make the truffle mocha with raspberry and I heard the girl behind the counter whisper under her breath. “We make stuff with truffle all the time”. with an attitude. How was I supposed to know that you guys make stuff with truffle “All the time”. Lol Then we waited for about maybe 10 minutes for a coffee. My husband wasn’t sure if we had to go back up to the counter and grab it. The same girl, who whispered under her breath, looked at my husband and said, “do you need something” again with a major attitude. My husband obviously replied with an attitude back, saying “we’ve never been here, so we’re not sure how it all works” and then he walked away from her. It’s very unfortunate because the coffee was amazing. The place is super cute but the employees are very unwelcoming. Maybe they were having a bad morning? I’m unsure, Maybe we will give them another try when the workers learn how to adjust...
Read moreSuch a cute and local place! I seen the Iced Caramel Macchiato on their Facebook, and I can assure you it tastes just as good as it looks in the picture!! I don't normally leave reviews, but this place definitely deserves a great review. Would love to dine in there eventually, but the drive thru is nice, convenient, and moves pretty quickly.
Also was not too expensive compared to other coffee places I've been to, as of June 2023, a medium iced caramel macchiato and a bagel with cream cheese was about $8.50 (prices I'm sure will go up because of inflation)
One other thing was that the drive thru employee even warned me that they filled the cup a bit too much, which saved me from spilling coffee all over the place when putting the straw in (I've had that happen to me way too many times) so that was greatly...
