Make sure you check your receipt for extra charges, but don't expect them to do anything about it if you find one. I stopped in for a small flurry today. The menu says its 4.99 and lists the toppings available. I would assume a flurry would include 1 topping, otherwise its just a cup of ice cream. I asked for cherry. When she gives me the price my total was $6.55. You don't have to be good at math to know tax is not over $1.50. I gave her my card and asked for the receipt. I saw they charged 1.19 for the cherry topping. I questioned why I was charged for the topping and the girl didn't have an answer. Two other people came to assist, neither of who could provide an answer. They shouted back to someone else for help, but still no one could explain to me why asking for a single topping in a flurry would cost additional. I even told them without a topping you would just be giving me a cup of ice cream. They seemed to understand what I was saying and one kid seemed bewildered by the extra charge as well. But, at the end of the day, the young girl just said, "we have to charge it" and offered to either give me the ice cream or give me a full refund (and leave with nothing). I said I would just take the ice cream but I won't be coming back, to which she replied "thats fine."
Well, I work in Eau Claire and we have staff lunches where we order from local restaurants. When I say I'm not coming back, you're not just losing my personal business, but you're also losing my work's business. I hope that extra $1.19 goes far for you, because its going to cost you hundreds of dollars in...
Read moreI ordered fourth three dollars worth of food, I checked my order right away before leaving. The salad was rotten lettuce, I didn't receive the tarter sauce, ranch, or nacho cheese sauce, the fries were still frozen inside and I broke fish open to ensure cooked through. I went to the window, after ten minutes I finally was acknowledged, I politely and quietly explained that the salad was no good opening the box and showing the worker. I was told they could remake it. I declined stating that it would be the same. I was ensured they would open a new package. I said okay. Fifteen minutes go by and the worker returns stating that they were not going to remake it. I said okay ( since I wasn't asking for them to remake it in the first place) I then asked for the ranch, nacho cheese and tarter, which I had paid extra for, the worker leaves again returning twelve minutes later then tells me, they said they gave it to you and I have to side with them and so there's nothing I can do about it. Clearly, I didn't leave, all packages in hand, been here for an hour to end up being accused of lying, told that there's nothing they can do to correct the mistakes made, and I end up with no food and out of fourth three dollars plus the tip I had given when I paid. There were several other customers that were unhappy as well. One stating that they had been waiting for half hour for fries. Smh....
Read moreI so wanted to keep coming to this place. The food is pretty good and they have vegetarian options and I love the pup cup for my dog. Unfortunately no matter what I order, whether two, or three meals for family or just one just for myself it just takes incredibly too long. I could go sit down at a restaurant and order and get my food before I get my food from here. I’ve tried on several occasions and started trying to order ahead online to mitigate the wait time but it doesn’t help. I’m so disappointed. They nickel and dime for every topping on a burger and then half the time you don’t get what you asked for but by the time you’ve waited almost an hour(today) (45 minutes in past) for a burger, I’m too worn down and hungry to complain or go back to get the missed item. The staff is always friendly so I’ll give them that but I have no idea what could possibly take almost 45 minutes for burgers fries and hotdog their menu is pretty extensive so that’s a plus but at the end of it all I don’t think I’ll be back. It’s just way too long to wait. Finally I’ve tried different times a day, i’ve tried to go when no one‘s there. It’s just me in line and it just doesn’t matter. Still...
