DeFelice Brother's Pizza Bethlehem West Virginia — Restaurant in Bethlehem

Ever since the staff got changed over about 5-7 years ago, this specific Defelice has had atrocious service. I’ll leave my personal judgement of the kinds of workers they hire for myself, but the workers are barely doing the minimum. Not exaggerating, 10/11 times I’ve ordered there over the last couple years my order has been messed up. Don’t bother calling and asking for anything in return, bc there’s no acknowledgement and adjustment for future orders. Whether it be missing salad dressings, price is wrong, “rounding up” orders and keeping the change, more than unreasonable wait times making you drive around the building 5-6 times, you name it, they’ll find a way to screw it up. Now, to be fair, the food that does get made correctly, is mostly good Defelice quality food. If they truly shape up the staff and be consistent with a good staff, this can go back to being my favorite Defelice spot.

Ordered a large pepperoni pizza over the phone and it was easy . Gentleman told me the cost and it would be ready in 20 minutes $18.00 and some change seems fair for a pick up pie. That's the best part of this review . As I entered the pizzeria I see four employees making and boxing various food items. I stood there for 9 minutes before anybody even acknowledged my presence. In my 9 minutes of wasted time I noticed two employees attempting to scrape burnt cheese off the bottom of a cooked pizza with a dry dish towel? The floor was a rodents buffet. My pizza sat not on the warm pizza oven but on a cold aluminum table so yes it was basically cold. When I got home I had to pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds to warm it back up. 🙃. I shared this pizza with a friend and we both had bad stomach issues the next day . That's my real name and I give honest reviews . We ordered a pepperoni pizza, the pizza did not come with any pepperoni. We added bacon to one side of it. We called back to tell them they did our order wrong, and the guy who won’t give us his name, says he’s the manager said he made it himself and called me a liar. Argued with us on the phone and we just wanted them to give us another pizza on another day. We did not want to drive all the way back today. He called us liars and said that 9/10 times people call just to get something free. I even offered to send him a photo. He continued to argue with us and say rude comments to us on the phone even after we said we were done arguing. WORST experience I’ve ever had at a pizza place.
