Coworker recommended this place, never been before. Got the grandmas pizza with pepperoni. If I live 100 years my truck is never going to smell this good again. Basil, garlic, tomato aromas on the way home almost made me pull over and eat the whole thing and just live with my shame. This is not strip-mall pizza. This Sicilian style pizza is not the 2 inches of bread with a little jarred sauce and cheese like you get everywhere else. The crust is not too thick, has crispy edges with no sogginess (mine had just come out of the oven when I picked it up) and the melted fresh mozzarella with basil leaves just make for a really nice presentation. You eat with your eyes first, and this is just a beautiful looking pizza. The menu says they use San Marzano tomatoes but my palate is not sophisticated enough to tell. I just know the sauce is very good, not too acidic or too sweet, really nicely balanced and I would’ve been fine if this pizza did not have pepperoni but my wife overruled me. I look forward to trying the rest of the menu. The staff was very friendly. This place is a couple of miles past my house but I think I’m going to be making the trip on a regular basis now. Give them a shot. Life is too short to eat mediocre pizza. Get...

Read moreFound this place on a whim and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Very small, but homey and very welcoming! Went with my husband and kids and everyone loved their meals. Orders of garlic bread are large, and the fried zucchini, jalapeño poppers you can tell are home-made. My son opted for a cheesesteak that looked like it was a house made roll.(incredibly soft, even the next day reheated as leftovers) my daughter got the chicken parm...delicious. my husband got the veal francese which was lemony and perfectly done to his liking. I ordered the pasta amatriciana with chicken....after ordering I realized I forgot to ask for it spicy and they were able to accommodate. And man, it was spicy, and literally everything I wanted. Took home a piece of cheesecake and lemoncello cake. Both delicious as well! That lemoncello cake was light and my favorite!
All in all, our experience for our first time exceeded our expectations from straying away from our norm. Can't wait to return for more delicious things to try and great service! Thank you Vincenza's you have...
