Gettysburg Baking Company — Restaurant in Biglerville

Here’s the thing. My husband and I LOVE this place and I hate leaving a four star review because most of our experiences have been great. However, we just opened our to go order that we bought yesterday to see they forgot the salmon on it. Can’t remember what we spent on it but he’s pretty sure it was around $12…for some bread, cream cheese, and cucumber. They’re closed on Sundays so there is unfortunately nothing we can do about it since we have to go home.

I understand mistakes happen, and the food is still amazing and the staff are super nice. We will still definitely be returning next time we’re in the area but we’re disappointed about this mishap.

Side note: I highly recommend their cheese and berry danishes. I’ve tried the blueberry and raspberry and both...

Great spot for artisan breads and pastries. So far I've loved everything I had there. The bread is so good that I often eat half of it on the way or just with butter!!

Their hand held pies, apple tarts, and whatever those cinnamon twists are.... Love that they are fresh daily. I can't wait to start checking out their wood fired pizzas including a breakfast pizza that they offer.

Something about a sunny Tuesday morning and walking by the open door of a bakery that just entrances you. Wonderful smells, great service. The bread looks scrumptious. I enjoyed a super fresh pastry and honestly I haven't had one of better quality since I was in France. Highly recommend. Prices aren't low but...
