Reviews Overview I’ve always had a good experience here, except for tonight. Wait time was only 10 minutes to be seated, that was good. But that was the least of our problems. Took 40 minutes just to get our meal, which was only soup. The Garlic Bread was hard and our waiter Shawn I believe his name was, spent more time with the table next to us 25+minutes just talking regular talk. He didn’t bother with us for the longest Time, probably because we weren’t guaranteeing him a big enough tip with only getting soup. I threw up when I got home. I didn’t feel well, not sure what was wrong with the food. When I got my clam chowder, it was warm/semi cold. Once our Waiters cash cow left, that’s when he finally paid attention to us. usually I love eating here but tonight was the complete opposite. So disappointed! Especially being sick after and throwing up
Consistently good food . Great wait staff. We eat at the bar just 'cause we like it and the bar manager is really on top of her game. They take great care of you. I can't say enough about consistency, there's no some days or times are better than others. I recommend the Seafood Fra Diavolo - to die for, which I get quite a lot and their Prime Rib. I recommend going earlier rather than later for the Prime Rib - they run out and there's a reason for that. It's the best Prime Rib around. After 6:00 pm the menu prices go up slightly. The food portions are the same all day and it's not an "early bird" menu. So if you want to save a little...
Visit was ok food was good staff was not very attentive to guests and the bar tender seemed very annoyed when i wanted to purchase lottery tickets.
Update: 1 star... came in on mothers day 2018. We were seated and given menus my wife ordered shrimp scampi and i ordered the garison burger. The waitress told me i couldn't get a sandwich cause it was a holiday i said i needed a few more minutes to look at the menu again (she seemed annoyed that i didn't know i couldn't get a burger even though no one said anything and it was on the menu)
I did not have any interest in the higher ticket options that i was able to order so i just asked for an appetizer nacho and the server literally rolled her eyes. She asked if i wanted chicken or beef on them i chose beef. When our food came out my wife joked how they just plopped a couple of hamburger pattys on the grill and chopped them up (pretty sure thats what happened) no seasoning just plain hamburger meat was served. We did not get any silverware for about 5 to 10 minutes after our food was served and had to flag down another server to get it for us and we recieved a couple of forks and a dirty knife along with a story about how the dish washer was messed up. We didnt see our waitress again until we asked another server for our check. Lucky for her my wife is a nice person because i would not have left a tip....
If you've read this whole thing avoid this place and drive five minutes in either direction and head for john ryans or emerald rose
