I stumbled upon this hidden gem when I was just out riding around enjoying a very beautiful day. Upon entering, the cashier was very friendly and I couldn't help but quickly noticed how the entire areas were exceptionally clean and neat (that alone prompted me to continue as the cashier seated me fairly quickly). The waitress (Sarah) showed a sincere and genuine interest in waiting on me as her overall demeanor made me feel like I made the right choice to come in, sit down and try what they had to offer. I had a "taste" for some catfish, and OMG, my taste buds were thoroughly satisfied! I came on a Tuesday for their all-you-can eat catfish during lunch, and Sarah epitomizes how it should be done as a waitress because she automatically kept being attentive to me by keeping my sweet tea coming (which was very refreshing), and with the hot, fresh and well-seasoned catfish. Also absolutely delicious was the potato salad. I can honestly say, it's been awhile since I had COLD, fresh-tasting potato salad like what was served to me. And the hush puppies didn't disappoint either. Overall, an exceptional VERY good dining experience for me. Not a good first experience at all. Service was friendly but very slow. Didn't check on us often. Very long wait time from ordering to getting food. Multiple tables that came after us received their food before us. Once the food came out a few things were wrong. They brought the wrong thing my friend ordered. They didn't even bring the chicken tenders my son ordered until about 15 minutes after everyone else was eating. My roast beef looked like a joke compared to the pictures they post online which is why i ordered it. Barely had any meat on it but in the pictures it was overloaded. My other friend got a chicken dish with some special sauce they kept recommending to get that had crawfish and shrimp in it. The chicken Barely had any sauce. I mean minimal. It looked like they stuck a knife in the sauce and rubbed it over the top. No sign of any seafood in the sauce. They did offer a piece of cheesecake for all of the issues. I heard a lot of people talking about how good the catfish was here but I went to try it out but I ordered the shrimp poboy. It was very good and had plenty of shrimp. My husband’s shrimp poboy didn’t have enough shrimp to cover his bread. My daughter’s boyfriend ordered the red beans but they were mushy like they scraped the bottom of the pot. We were seated fast but no one came to take our order for over 30 minutes. My husband had to ask if someone would take our drink order because we saw people that came in after us receiving our food. I had ordered okra with my poboy but received fries and I also ordered hush puppies that I never received.
