Lucky's Bar — Restaurant in Bismarck

I was disappointed when I was here. Wanted to have a beer and play the pull tabs machines. And the bartender that night ask for my husband and I ID so we both gave him our ID but my husband's had his MHA tribal ID (FYI it's a federally recognized tribe) and he was denied service and was not allowed to play the pull tabs machines. So I been looking and studying. The law for ND of what kind of ID were acceptable and no where did It stat that it's not acceptable. I even ask him if it's the policies for all the bars in Bismarck and he stated "yes" so I don't know if he was just racist towards Native Americans but that was my experience to night. Happen 06-14-2022 around 11:30PM if it's true please direct me toward the info of where it is written....

This bar use to be a good place to go. No servers on a Friday night and two bartenders. I waited 15-20 minutes for a drink. Drinks were good though. The new managers girlfriend/wife was the real problem. She was incredibly intoxicated and harrassing a few of the costumers verbally trying to start fights with other females. If you are female and cross her path, watch out. I'm a male who likes to have a good drink once in a while, not stand forever and wait for my drink while I watch some wreck of a female start cat fights. I prefer to go to places with less drama. Always 5 stars. Best bartenders, service, appreciation, atmosphere, and ndsu football games to attend in town!!!! One of the only bars all if my family members and friends attend now. Love it! And polar package next door is still 5 stars for almost all of the same reasons! Best staff for both places in town!
