Shiloh CoffeeHouse in Black Canyon City is a hidden gem on Old Black Canyon Hwy, and I am convinced they serve the absolute best coffee I've ever had in any coffee shop or restaurant! It's locally roasted, organic, and has a rich, smooth flavor. And with a wonderful selection of 'foo-foo' coffees, teas, and snacks, they cater to a wide range of tastes.

You'll love the warm, welcoming atmosphere created by the local couple who run it. I am happy to support a family business rather than a faceless corporation that overcharges for mediocre drinks. The prices here are incredibly reasonable, especially considering the excellent quality they serve.

The covered outdoor patio is the perfect spot to relax and savor your beverage. It's comfortable, inviting, and provides a peaceful escape. If you're anywhere near Black Canyon City, do yourself a favor and stop by Shiloh CoffeeHouse. You won't be disappointed!

P.S. It would be wonderful if Shiloh offered a roasted veggie sandwich on toasted sourdough with...

Ok….. I know everyone wants to go LEFT off the 17North Exit to the infamous Rock Springs Cafe…. but now do yourself a favor and turn RIGHT, instead, to spend your money in actual Black Canyon City, and specifically at this wonderful little coffee shop business! Follow their signs and it’s on the right around the middle of town, maybe a mile? Look for the cute desert mural …..

These proprietors have big, gorgeous smiles and obvious JOY in their undertaking. So friendly and welcoming as I entered their shop. Coffee, and especially the to-die-for homemade cinnamon roll were so good! The breeze was lovely that morning as I stood outside at the wooden counter to stretch my legs and enjoy my food. Mr. proprietor chatted with me a bit about their history and future expansion plans, and Ms. was just a sweet delightful person too! How refreshing to see their lovely smiles!

Highly recommend this business and wish these two folks every success. I’ll definitely be stopping in whenever I’m in the area on my way...

The coffee is so good that this is my second time writing a review. I also drove out of my way from Anthem to Black Canyon City just to get more. For some reason my original review disappeared. Everytime I've gotten coffee here it has consistently been perfect tasting. There's a reason it has a solid 5 star rating. This is my new coffee shop to stop at on my way up to Flagstaff or anywhere up North. The lattes are so good I plan my trips around their hours of operation to make sure they're open and I can stop in when driving by.

Plus the owners are super cool and friendly people. Good luck finding a better coffee shop. I've tried a bunch throughout the valley and there's only one other one that is consistent with the quality and taste of their lattes and other drinks. If you're tired of wasting money on inconsistent and mediocre chain coffee shops with long lines then you should try this place out and the added bonus to the great coffee is you'll be supporting a locally owned...

Update: They responded fast to what I said and explained why it happened. I was happy for the efficient communication but it gets better! I went in to pick up my order and the man at the counter apologized for what happened. He told me the place was going through renovations last week and had expanded the shop, so they can sit more people. I told him it was fine, but even offered me a free pastry for the hassle. I couldn't express enough how thankful I was for his generosity! 🙏 Haven't tried the blueberry muffin yet but it looks yummy, as do all their baked goods. The parfait was as delicious a the first time, if not better! And the caramel frappe was so good! 😋 Great food, great employees and great prices, all which are rare to find nowadays. Original review: Does anyone know why this place is closed? I just went there last week, their parfait was one of the best I ever had and now they're closed 😭

⸻ We had the pleasure of stopping here on our way to Sedona, and it turned out to be the perfect pick-me-up to keep us energized for the rest of our trip. The affogato with strawberries was outstanding — the perfect balance of rich espresso and fresh, sweet fruit. Every dish we ordered featured incredibly fresh, flavorful ingredients, which truly set this spot apart. The açaí bowl and the yogurt parfait were particular favorites with my two daughters, both beautifully prepared and delicious. Thank you for the wonderful food and warm hospitality — it was exactly what we needed. We’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends and family traveling through the area!
