Salt Pond Pub — Restaurant in Blacksburg

While we didn’t eat here we should have. The experience we had upstairs in harvest was horrible. We stumbled upon this after we had done the self guided tour and were awaiting our gator excursion. Our bartender, can’t remember her name (red head) was amazing. She was friendly and personable. She kept us entertained. The views are so nice from the bar down below or the patio below. I am not sure if they had an upper deck but I think they did?? They’re not part of the hotel so they have their separate cook and management. We liked that option. It was so cool sitting there having a drink looking out at baby’s cabin and the lake in the distance. What a very relaxing...

Didn't eat here, but the pizza looked and smelled delicious. Loved the outdoor seating as well and the had a wonderful draft selection. I even felt is name was appropriate because there is a smell in the air and it Pond is really what the lake has been reduced to presently.
