Service: The cook/owner – not sure if he’s one or both – was friendly. He is the only one there as far as I can tell when we first arrived at about 4:30ish pm. Later I saw a teenager walking around and cleaning already cleaned tables. You put the order in and he does give you a buzzer for when the food is ready. He did forget my order of samosas but that was easily remedied when I went up to the counter and reminded him. If I didn’t remember that I ordered it, I would’ve paid for something I didn’t get.

Food: There were 6 of us. 3 ordered the Philly Steak sandwich with French Fries and a drink combo. One ordered a Gyro burger combo w/ fries and drink. One ordered the #20 Kufta Shish kabob and another ordered the #24 Jawad Grill. Both of these combos did not come with a drink so we had water. And we chose rice as our side over fries or hummus. A salad was included. I was pleasantly surprised how tasty and abundance the food was. The ratio of rice to meat was a little off, there was a bit more rice than I wanted but still tasty. I wished that there was a little bit more of the roasted bell peppers and onions, I think I got one of each on my Kufta plate but sadly the onion needed a little bit more time on the grill. It’s still a little bit on the raw side. I also thought the yogurt dip was a little bland and wanted a little bit more seasoning and kick to it. The fries on the sandwich and burger plates was actually pretty good and crispy even though we know it was from frozen. The kids definitely approved of the Philly steak and burger combo plates. Big thumbs up. The samosas were a bit bland. I like that it was made fresh but the filling was basically ground meat (beef?).

Overall: Small mom/pop place – Dine in or take out. Not sure if they deliver. The dining area was clean. Some tables did not have any napkins or condiments, but we just took some from the other table while there. Dining area can accommodate larger parties. The bathroom was a bit dirty. It does need a good cleaning. Lots of dust on the floor especially behind the toilet. Floor needs a good scrub as well. Be warned, if you use the toilet, the flush pressure is 0 and it will look like the bowl is about to flood. There’s two TVs on the wall. They offer catering services as well.

Recommendations: I would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the Blaine area. It did exceed my expectations. Food was freshly made. And the owner/cook...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Jawad Grill with my family, and the experience left us thoroughly impressed. This Mediterranean gem offers a solid menu, our favs being the Jawad Grill combo and the Lamb Shish Kabob plate!

Upon entering, we were welcomed by a warm, cleanly, and inviting sit down atmosphere, complimented by being immediately greeted by the friendly staff. They took our orders swiftly, and made us feel right at home.

The Jawad Grill combo was a delightful blend of flavors, with perfectly grilled meats, fresh vegetables, and flavorful sauces that brought out the flavors and essence of Mediterranean cuisine!

The Lamb Shish Kabob plate, presented tender and seasoned lamb that demonstrated the culinary skills of the chefs at Jawad Grill.

We savored every bite!

What sets Jawad Grill apart is the great attention to detail in their dishes, using fresh, halal ingredients, and delivering authentic flavors in a visually appealing presentation.

Generous portion sizes ensured everyone in my family, including those with hearty appetites, left more than satisfied. The pricing is reasonable, considering the quality and quantity of the food provided.

Our overall experience at Jawad Grill was exceptional. The combination of delicious food, a friendly atmosphere, and attentive service makes it a standout in Mediterranean dining.

I wholeheartedly recommend Jawad Grill to anyone seeking an authentic culinary experience. We're already looking forward to our next visit, and Jawad Grill has certainly earned its place as a go-to restaurant for our family.

Five stars all the way!!!

What a blessing it is to have this local restaurant to make memories in!

Thank you...

The place was nice and clean. It was also bright. For the first time trying a place in a small strip mall, this first impression was really important to me.

I ordered take out, a cheese burger, philly cheese steak, and the puff pizzas. It took about 15 minutes. Everything was great! The food was fresh and hot, even after the 10 minute drive home. (My wife almost burned her tongue.)

Think food truck type food. The philly meat was like gyro meat consistency, and a soft bun. The cheese is very creamy, and while my wife enjoyed the sandwich, she said the cheese was a little too creamy for her by the end.i tried it too, and thought it was very good flavor.

The burger was a traditional California burger. It wasn't greasy or anything, which I liked. I thought it tasted a lot like a fresh whopper, still hot! (They beat Burger King at their own game!)

The puff pizzas was great too! It's like a pepperoni pizza paste in a puff pastry. It had the consistency of fried beans, but it tasted like a pizza filling! Your kids will love them if you don't!

Oh, and the fries were also great!

My wife and I are scared to try new places, and I'm very happy this place quelled our fears! If you're on the fence,...

Gyro basket was great. Greek style with meat, onion, tomato and cucumber sauce on top of (not in) a very fresh pita. So overloaded, it was a mess to eat but a delicious mess. The accompanying fries were some of the best we've had; fresh, crispy, and well seasoned. The other dish was the Jawad grill combo. A little bit of everything. Large chunks of meat, onions, green peppers on yellow rice. The side salad sums up the Greek/American/Mediterranean menu. Mostly iceberg lettuce, fresh onion and a couple slices of tomato. And olives. Not kalamata olives, but pitted California black olives together with spicy, whole middle eastern style green olives. Every thing we tasted compared favorably with the middle eastern restaurants we frequent on Central Avenue, but a lot closer to home. We'll be back.

First time coming here and wow was I impressed. Very large meal portions and fantastic flavor. We got the jawad grill combo for 2, it comes with multiple types of meat. Whoever is manning that grill knows what they are doing. Wonderful customer service and pleasant atmosphere. Would make for a nice dine in experience for lunch but wouldn't personally go there for a dinner date being that the interior is quaint and doesn't give any room for a semi-private conversation. All in all we will absolutely be going there again!
