I was over at my in-laws house helping out when my mother-in-law decided to order from Franks. I've honestly never been to a Franks I didn't like till I came upon this place. We were at the house waiting for my father-in-law to show up with the food. As he finally comes in through the door we notice he is carrying only one bag. We open the bag and realized right away this couldn't be our order. My mother-in-law gives Franks a call and they say our food is waiting for us at the restaurant and that they gave us the wrong order. So this time I hopped in the car and head down with my brother-in-law. So we arrive and let them know what happened. One of the girls working asked us where the food was and that we needed to bring it back. I said we didn't bring it back because we thought you wouldn't accept it do to COVID-19. She said it's something the owner is making them do. She had a very rude tone and was speaking over the other girl at the counter who explained to us that our order and another order had the same number. She also told us, "oh, this happens more often then you would think". Not only was the order messed up for 2 people, we still had to pay full price for our order instead of the difference already paid for the last. Also, the man who's order they gave us had to wait for them to do it again because they were counting on us to return food in a PANDEMIC when they could have done it over again when they realized the mess up. I also noticed that only a few people working had masks on.
Overall, the food wasn't the best, customer service was lacking and just from being in the food business myself and looking around, they don't take COVID-19 seriously. I told my in-laws to never order from there again. From what I was told this establishment has really gone downhill from what it use to be. The owner really needs to step in and evaluate what's going on before he loses...
Read moreI recently moved up to blairstown and came across this place with my fiancé and it was amazing food is great but now im up here for bout a year now and I live exactly 2.6 miles from franks and I called for delivery like 4 times (as I didnt know they delivered this whole time) so first time was good on time with things and the food was great. second time the problems started I guess I didnt hear the doorbell the first time it rang the delivery guy legit rang doorbell and left food on porch I called them to ask where food was and they said delivered and I go outside to see my food on the ground called back and they apologize no refund no resending of food so I was furious and I didnt bother to order from here anymore. so my fiancé decided to order again from here and this I understand the weekend rush but an hour and 45 mins it took to get 2.6 miles up road and the food was ice cold called again and this time was hung up on. at this point I said forget this place exists. well now it was friday and I came home from work to my fiancé once again ordering from frankk once again this time got order all wrong sent wrong drinks then not only did they deliver to us before the delivery boy was very rude said he should of turned around they don't deliver 5 miles or more and that the drive from them to my home was over 5 miles when I put it in gps it was 2.6 miles he was very nasty and rude and when money was being exchanged instead of handing me food he threw it on ground took money and walked away. this place has good food I cant knock that but service is insanely rude and unprofessional, The deliverer’s are rude and some of the staff that answer phones dont get orders right I wouldnt suggest ordering out from this place id just...
Read moreThought we would try a different local establishment today. My Wife ordered Cavatelli with Broccoli and I ordered Chicken Murphy. I also ordered a Ham & Cheese Calzone as a back up. Glad I did. Chicken Murphy is supposed to be prepared with the chicken cut up and with potatoes and hot cherry peppers. I did not see any potatoes and the chicken was a whole cutlet lying on the bottom of the tray. To give them credit, they did describe this menu item with peppers but they were just green bell peppers which totally ruined the dish. Also they did note potatoes were an ingredient but they were nowhere to be found. Very disappointing. My wife's dinner (Cavatelli and Broccoli) lacked so much flavor and was watery. She didn't even ask if I wanted to taste it before it went in the garbage after 3 bites. The Back up Calzone was ok. Thank goodness I ordered it. I would hope they can improve or remove those menu items. I am sure there are people who enjoy it just as it is but just felt everything was prepared incorrectly and someone needs a new chef or...
