Papa Romano's Pizza — Restaurant in Bloomfield Township

Updating review of this place. Previously was pleased (4star), but 5 of the last 6 times I've patronized them, I've waited beyond their stated time for pickup. Typically 10 min or so. However, this last visit was over the top.

Informed 25 min to pickup, but arrived just shy of 25, paid for the pizza, breadsticks, etc. (Another 10) and then waited, and waited, and waited. A crowd of waiting customers formed. I asked about status several times but was met with "few more minutes. " I began to ask for a refund and the country woman said, "I didnt take your money, it was 'that' guy." Who cares who took it, I would like it back and leave....After 1 hour (35 plus inside) I demanded my refund.

Here is the topper, they asked my name for maybe the 6th time, then pulled the pizza out of the warmer, and handed it to me. I opened it, saw how over done and dry it was, said .., "really? I have stood here waiting with a ton of these people and you stuck it in the warmer and want me to take this overdone food? "

Flat out deflection and refusal to refund!!!

Ordered a pizza online at 8:20pm., on July 3, 2025. Paid for the pizza online. When we arrived at the store, at 8:45pm., the store was already closed, even though the posted closing time is 9pm. The employee inside the store would not come to the door. He stated from his location inside the store that they were closed. We didn't get the food we ordered and paid for. Now, we have to try to reach out to the store and try to get our money back. Extremely disappointing. While we were sitting there, two other customers showed up, assuming that they should still be open. Last time I'll ever go to...

Long time customer but nevermore!!! I would have given them a zero if that were an option. We've been buying pizza from the Maple and Cranbrook store (started when they were at 14 and Southfield) for over 20 years but will no longer be buying from them. The past several times we ordered pizza they screwed up every order. We bought the last pizza from this store tonight. Not only did they get the pizza order wrong but when they remade the pizza to correct it they screwed it up again. Didn't even offer anything for having to wait to correct their mistake. Good bye...
