Going to this restaurant you can usually expect to get Good food with large satisfying servings but it depends on the serving staff you get. They switch serving staff every few months so its a 50/50 chance you might not get the portions you pay for. The current servings staff as of Tuesday Agugust 31 2021 definitely don't serve the customers portions that they pay for I even hear other customers in line complaining about it. Usually I can't finish one of their large foods but for the past few weeks with this current staff a large food is the same as a medium, and it's mostly rice and no meat. so I'm just going to stop going there until they change out this current batch of servers, avoid being served by that young girl that always wears a hat she serves food with 90% rice. We ordered 2 large take out orders of oxtail with vegetables as well as rice and beans, 1 large order of the large chicken wings(nonfried) with rice and beans with vegetables and a small box of maccaroni. The huge portions fed the 3 of us for 3 days! Very filling meals! I never had the food from here before but heard that it was very good. The food was actually excellent! Very tasty, not salty and very satisfying. Just be careful of bits of bones in the oxtail meal. Otherwise, if you like fall off the bone tender oxtail with rice and beans and veggies, this is delicious. The chicken wings meal was tender and tasty as well. The macaroni and cheese almost looked liked lasagna because it looked fancier than just regular mac and cheese. ‼️‼️WARNING‼️‼️ Do not go here, no matter how hungry you are! First of all when you step in here you’re met with an unpleasant smell. Then, there’s no prices up ANYWHERE. The costumer service is TRASH, food tastes HORRIBLE, especially the canned peas that they throw on the rice with absolutely no coconut milk. The small food is $13 and change, And to make matters worse, you don’t get vegetables unless you order a size up. The portions of the rice are terrible. And if you ask for gravy, it’s like they give you SOUP. My $80 went down the drain for some nasty, bad tasting, no seasoning, bad representation food.
