Starbucks — Restaurant in Bloomfield

"Tristan takes the Cake!" I work and I got to be at work by a certain time. Usually I come in here and it's like a Jay Z concert beings everywhere living out their coffee desires. Me personally I got a contract with coffee and Starbucks has some light beam coffee. They do their coffee beans right like making love in the Moonlight feeling the tides rise and fall. Anyways I walked in and this morning it was chilled. Everyone was in their battle stations. One guy in front of me and I'm like " cool won't have to wait long." The girl steps away, that's fine but I continue to wait. She's now haveing a club house hang out with her peeps and I'm looking at my clock because soon I'm got to clock in. Tristan looks at them and me and Tristan sweeps in like a Hawk to do the job. Tristan had another station helping drive thru but saw a customer needed service. As a person who has worked in retail this is key for service. Tristan takes the Cake because Tristan always is on point Everytime I go in there. Tristan be doing the job!! Thank you Tristan! I have been going to this Starbucks everyday and everyday my drink is made differently (and incorrectly). I don’t complain each time because I don’t want to be a Karen but yesterday I decided to call because I’m paying $1+ for extras on my drink that they never give me ! The guy who answered the phone basically told me that if my drink isn’t being made correctly then I should taste it before I leave to make sure that it’s made right . You really want me to hold up the drive through and drink my drink to make sure that it’s made correctly ???? He told me they could remake it but at this point , I’m halfway to work and can’t turn around and he’s going to tell me that he can’t do anything about it. The kids at this Starbucks need better customer service training because they are quite rude . I don’t understand how the staff has the nerve to get irritated that someone is complaining about a mistake that THEY made. I try to give everyone grace because I’ve worked in fast food / customer service before , but that is not how you deal with people and management...

FINALLY!!🙌🙌 After moving from Washington State to Connecticut- To say we've been disappointed in the Starbucks here would be an understatement. From rude employees, rushed service, incorrect drinks and stores that are closed during business hours or open but out of supplies, sadly we've seen it all here in CT. It's no wonder people go to the other option :/ However THIS location has renewed our love for SB.

Coming from a place where a Starbucks is on every corner and every establishment exemplifies the Starbucks standard, walking into this shop we were not expecting much! What a fantastic surprise it was when we got to the counter and ordered. Cecilia and her team not only made my drink EXACTLY as it should be but she was kind, not rushed and made every attempt to treat me as an old friend. She is the reason we will drive the 40 minutes to get a great cup of coffee and a nice reminder of "home". Thank you Cecelia!!
