Bloom Hill Farm - Ice Cream — Restaurant in Bloomfield

We stopped by Bloom Hill Ice Cream on a Saturday evening after a hike, and it was such a charming little spot! We were a party of three, and though there was quite a line, it moved steadily and was worth the wait.

We ordered three small (1-scoop) regular cones — Mango Coconut, Blueberry Cheesecake, and Coconut. Each flavor was creamy and delicious, with the Blueberry Cheesecake being a standout. We paid $20 via credit card, which may feel on the higher side, but the quality and atmosphere made it feel reasonable.

The surroundings were beautiful. Flowers in bloom, lovely landscaping, and even some farm animals like quails, peacocks, and llamas wandering around! It added such a fun and peaceful vibe to the visit. There was even a hand wash station, which was a thoughtful touch.

We go here several times this summer for ice cream it's always fantastic! I believe they use pralines products right now because of the pandemic they're doing a drive-thru they're two lines that go around in a circle you pick your ice cream and then they bring it to the car they're very efficient and the line moves pretty quickly. I highly recommend going there especially if you have kids, it's nice to not have to get the kids out of the car and wait in a long line. after the pandemic is over I hope they continue this and they don't go back to the old ways because it really is a nice way to go and get ice cream...
