China Wok — Restaurant in Bloomington

Beyond disappointed, decided to bite the bullet and go get Crab Rangoons, bought two orders for myself and to share with co workers. Came in ready to celebrate the sweet and savory goodness of the Rangoon to take my first bite and immediately knew something wasn't right. I'm not sure if they did not mix the crab mix with the correct ingredients but I know for sure the oil they fry them in definitely is way past expired. They had a hard but chewy texture and an over-powering taste of burnt oil, which could be why the crab mixture itself was very strange and did not taste like any Rangoon I have ever had. Unfortunately, my meal was terrible. My chicken was very dry and chewy, as if it was fried then placed under a heat lamp a few hours to keep warm. Honestly, it tasted like poorly reheated leftovers. The fried rice was extremely dry and flavorless. Service was average and wait time was about 5 minutes. The plastic forks are TINY and flimsy. Cute, and virtually useless. And lastly, my fortune cookie was crumbled in the package. I know Chinese fast food like this isn't gourmet, but this establishment will do better if the food is prepared fresh. Okay so I rarely leave reviews, it either has to be outstanding or terrible for me to do so. I wish I could give half a star or no stars. This experience was atrocious. We ordered take out; egg rolls, crab ragoons, sweet and sour, and pork fried rice. The egg rolls were not only tiny but tasted like some sort of cleaning solution.
