If I could give the Dew Drop Inn a -5 review I would do so. If you are looking for a place to go that is safe ,,,,absolutely do not go into the dew drop Inn. Bar fights are common. Most recently in March 2022 a young man stopped in for a beer and a game of pool and was viciously attacked when he walked outside the bar. In May 2022, this happened yet again! However this time the five attackers thought they had killed the young man and loaded him into their vehicle and drove over a mile away to dump his body in the ditch. Thankfully the young man woke up!! He was covered in blood , disoriented and could not understand what had happened because he no doubt had a concussion but was able to get help , when a kind person opened their door to him and called for an ambulance. The sheriffs department is involved and investigating however with no help from the owners and managers of the dew drop Inn. The owners and managers “claim” that although they have surveillance cameras surrounding the property, “NONE OF THE CAMERAS ARE RECORDING!!”
The five individuals that jumped this young man when he left to get in his car and beat him mercilessly, will be found and dealt with. Meanwhile let’s not continue to give our money to the Dewdrop, when their patrons are not important enough to have working cameras around the property, for the safety of customers.
Teeth knocked out Broken nose - fractured in 3 placed Multiple stitches on face Huge Gash on the back of the skull where the attackers hit him when he walked out to get in his car, in which he was knocked unconscious. To add insult to injury they must have taken his wallet out of his pocket and continued to charge drinks to his debit card after they had thrown him in the ditch. This young man was raised in this community and known by many that work at the Dew Drop Inn How could they allow these attackers to continue to charge drinks to his debit card?!!! And if that wasn’t bad enough,, the bartender took the liberty of giving herself a $30 tip when she scribbled a signature on...
Read moreGreat place when you walk in. Awesome decor and the menu was pretty decent. Went for Father’s Day and there was a 21st birthday out on the patio which wasn’t a big deal. But we sat down and my b/f’s Mom ordered iced tea and our waitress brought her water and we had to tell her it should have been tea. Went to Order our food and the waitress completely forgot to tell us that there was no pizza left and got our order and disappeared for a while after that and we had 3 other waiters/waitresses bring our food and refill our drinks because our waitress was over talking to what looked like a friend from the 21st birthday who had showed up. Our order was wrong when we received it, my boyfriend ordered the tacos and got two of the same ones when he had ordered one of each, his dads order was also wrong he had ordered brisket and pulled pork and only got the pulled pork, our waitress then thought to mention that they might have been out of brisket earlier and went to check. She brought out a plate of brisket and said it was on the house and the manager would be out to speak with us.....she then once again disappeared and the manager never showed. I thought it was disrespectful of her to be talking to her friends for over 15 mins before she went outside to the 21st birthday party and she didn’t get our order right. The manager never showed so we paid and left.
My parents had a way better experience the night they went and I was hoping for the same but was very disappointed with the waitress we had. The food was great but poor service from our waitress.
Being a former waitress I always put my customers first then made time for friends if they showed up to an event at my work. Hoping to give a second chance to this beautiful...
Read moreI leave reviews when they are worthy and I got to say this place blew my mind!! I’ve heard about talk of the Dew Drop Inn for years, and never ventured out to see it. On July 23rd we made a pit stop here as we were traveling to St Louis. We sat and were greeted by a lovely server named Alicia(it was also her birthday!). We let Alicia know we had never been and she was quick to suggest popular items. My mother got a double burger and my mom is not an easy woman to talk into getting the upcharges(if you know what I mean), Alicia asked her so nonchalantly if she’d like to add bacon that my mother didn’t even hesitate to say yes(that’s an accomplishment in its own!!). I got an open faced pulled pork sandwich, slaw, and baked beans. All was delightful and I even wanted to buy a bottle of the sauce used. Alicia made for a great time at this establishment and I definitely can see why she is a valued employee! While waiting on our food we of course checked out the decor and loved the entire set up, what the owners have done here is just perfect. We really loved the shirt wall for its creativeness! After eating we needed to use the restroom, even the spacious bathrooms are worth talking about. They were very clean and I liked the slanting mirrors, because you know how us girls have to take some selfies after a few drinks! 😉 There is a back room of some sort that we didn’t have time to check out but we can’t wait to go back and see it. All in all I would recommend this place to anyone! Can’t wait to go back. Hats off to Kevin in the kitchen, your pulled pork is insanely delicious!! Very clean, very friendly, and...
