Good food and prices. Not the best we've ever had, but definitely one of the best around here. We eat here often and rarely have issues. Staff is friendly and do their job well. If I had to find something to offer criticism on, it would be the al pastor is inconsistent. Some days it's absolutely delicious, other days it burns your mouth off, and others it has a completely different flavor. But I will continue going, always hoping to get the good stuff, because it is delicious when it's done right.
Question for Los Agaves... My family and I order the al pastor quesadilla frequently. Today I got it and it had peppers instead of pineapple. I don't like peppers at all and was surprised to see this. I asked my server and she said that's how they make it when it's ala carte. But we always order it ala carte and have never received it like this. Is this the new way it's served? Just asking so I know if I should be specifying no peppers...
Read moreI was so disappointed. I live out of the city limits so the idea of a good Mexican place within driving distance was really an exciting idea. We ordered take out for 6 people. I went to pick it up and the staff seemed spread too thin because it took for ever to find anyone. Once I did, they had no idea where the order was or if it had even been taken. After about 25 minutes they found it ( it had been sitting on a table by the door since prior to my arrival ). Needless to say it was all cold, but good food can be reheated. We tried in the oven but the quality of the food was beyond disappointing. Basically we got about 10 dollars worth of food for 62 bucks plus gratuity. I will admit this may have just been an off night, but it was off enough that I would never want to go back. I am so disappointed. A good Mexican place within driving distance would...
Read moreMy first impressions were that the place is clean and the salsa was really good. My waiter was super nice and really on his A game. We lacked for nothing. The tortillas with my fajitas were super soft and had a great texture, not waxy like other places. The guacamole is chunky and much better in my opinion than the blended and mashed you get at other establishments. If I had any criticisms it would be to add pico to the fajitas, the diced tomatoes just don't bring the same zing and I miss the heat. But, the price is super affordable and portions are generous. We will definitely be back! And you should put this place down as a must try, if nothing else but for the...
