Pizza Plus — Restaurant in Bluff City

My boyfriend and I called and ordered a pizza on May 7th at 8:45 pm, I requested delivery and paid around $33.00 with my debit card. At 10:00 pm our pizza still hadn’t arrived (they close at 10:00). I called and let the phone ring till it cut off, hung up and called again, the girl answered and I ask where my pizza was, she replied with “ your order was for pickup not delivery”. No, it wasn’t , how many people call and order a pizza for pickup and pay before they get there??? So she said she was sorry and the delivery guy would bring it out and they would credit my account. Finally at 10:45 we got our pizza, cold of course because it had been made almost 2 hours prior, the delivery guy stated that they credited my card back and that they also put a credit on my account there so our next order would be free. So today I noticed that the charge had still not come off my card, so I thought well we will just take advantage of our credit they gave us and have pizza tonight..... wrong, when I called and talked to “Savanna” she stated there were no notes on my account and that they never credit cards back, that’s against their policy and that she could offer me a discount but that was all. I will never eat here again, I own a business myself and would never treat a customer like this. The owner of this business needs to teach their employees how to treat...

First impressions are important! First time at this location and when my husband walked in he wasn’t greeted, didn’t know if they were ready for him to order because they just stared, and when he explained it’s been a while since we’ve been into a Pizza Plus, they didn’t say a thing. Thank goodness we looked at the menu ahead of time online because there was little to no interaction at the counter. We ordered a large California Chicken and a large Classic Deluxe Pizza. Which is really comparable to everyone else’s Mediums or larger small sized pizzas. We ended up throwing away majority of the pizzas because the crust was too hard. (Overcooked cracker-like crust) Our toddler couldn’t break it down to eat and actually threw it at the ground for us to realize half of the pizza was inedible from the sound it made.

Also to note. My husband asked for extra ranch with our order. He was told they were inside the pizza boxes. When he went to check the lady repeated herself in a tone, “I said they were inside.” Needless to say, we didn’t check until we got home and guess what? No ranch dipping inside the boxes. For the price we paid and the quality of food/ingredients received, we’d rather travel to another establishment for a better experience and edible food....

Pizza Plus in general is my favorite generic pizza chain( i.e pizza hut, pappa John's, domino's, etc.) The location in Bluff City, Tn on the other hand is the worst chain I have used. Tonight I ordered 2 large Pepperoni to be picked up. My wife arrived after their reccomend time of 20 min. When she got home the pizza was completely under cooked. The cheese was melted but the crust was raw dough. I could understand if this was the first time it had happened, but this has happened on three separate occasions. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and I'm sure if I called and complained they would offer to resolve the issue with a replacement order, but after a long day at work and a hungry family, driving back and forth just to get pizza is rediculious. We always pick it up because we had an issue with their delivery service once taking almost 2 hours on a week day to deliver 2 pizzas. Like I said, friendly staff, but the service is very...
