Walked in on a Saturday just past 11. Only ones other family seated. It's a walk up and order vibe, there were 3 of us, we ordered and sat down. No one else entered the restaurant while we were there. Finally at 11:40 we were served or meals. The arrived one at a time with several minutes in between. I ordered shredded beef enchiladas, they arrived and we're dry, the enchilada sauce soaked into the shell, the beef was not shredded it was the same carne asada beef as the burrito and quesadilla. The burrito was tiny for the price of $16, and didn't come with anything else. The quesadilla was the best bang for your buck. For waiting as long as we did the food was not hot. They were out of, or weren't prepared to serve, chicken. We only ordered water to drink and had to remind them to bring them to the table as we weren't given them after we ordered. All in all very disappointing.

With the arrival of the Carne Asada Grill, Bluffdale is no longer a food desert. This delightful Mexican restaurant is an A+ addition to the foodie scene behind the Zion Curtain. Spotlessly clean, you order at the counter. Service is friendly and earnest. The music playing is a mix of Norteno and 80’s hair bands, which is wild. We got two sets of tacos. The carne asada and the adobadas on flour tortillas. Both were delicious. The steak in the asada was perfectly done, medium. The adobadas were juiced well. The onions in both were not overwhelming which is often the case in other taco places. Cilantro was nicely balanced. Carne Asada Grill is a banger.

I got the Birria tacos. The sides of beans and rice were very good. My tacos were flavorful but a little dry (And my personal option, a little too much cilantro. My husband didn’t mind). If they were served with some consomé to dip them in it would have been great. My husband got the carne asada burrito and was very happy with it. The employees were friendly. Overall we were happy with the price ranges, portion sizes, and quality of food. We’ll be back.

The most genuine and heart felt one star review I have ever given in my life. I was so excited for a carne asada burrito and ordered my wife a birria quesadilla with extra cheese and consome because she fancy like that. I ordered it to go to eat at the park.

What I got was the most flavorless and flacid blob of tortilla I’ve ever laid eyes on. Even tho I paid $30 for the add ons, I received no consome, and worst of all, no birria beef in the birria quesadilla. It was just cheese.

I take a bite out of my carne asada burrito which sounded so good at the time and I pulled the entire slab of flavorless, no seasoning, squishy meat out with it. Not cut and hardly even cooked out of this sad excuse for a burrito. One bite took all of the meat that was placed in the tortilla all the way out and was left with even more of a disaster. Regardless, I went in for another bite because I refused to believe a carne asada burrito could actually be this sad. The veggies and tortilla was absolutely flavorless and I am astounded at the lack of effort and depression that was served in a to go box.

The only thing that was even remotely enjoyable and kept me temporarily out of the dog house was the Mexican Coke.

A very heartfelt one star review and I do not encourage a soul, even on their hungriest and most desperate of days,...

Alright so, if you get the Carne asada tacos, you got a 50/50 chance of it being pretty mid, or some of the best in the state. Personally I think I just rolled the dice too many times and it’s no longer worth the half the time it isn’t great. When it hits, it great, the rest of the time is pretty dang frustrating. For ex. Half the time the tortillas are heated perfect the steak is incredible and the portions are awesome. The reverse happens half the time.

You can count on mediocre service and long wait times consistently, the pressure to tip in this environment is pretty high, normally I wouldn’t mind but I wouldn’t & didn’t feel comfortable telling the folks about the food quality the half of the time it wasn’t great therefore didn’t think tipping felt right and the choices can be pretty crazy on food.

They use high quality ingredients for sure, but the cooking quality is vary variable, yet the service and wait times...
