I am writing to share a disappointing experience I had at your Quench It Bluffdale location last night, July 1st, at approximately 8:45 p.m. According to your website, the store closes at 9:00 p.m., so I arrived with enough time to make a simple purchase—a bag of ice. When I pulled in, there was a traffic cone mashed down in the drive through. I didn’t realize it was intended to signal closure, especially with 15 minutes still remaining before closing time. I proceeded through and waited at the window. Three employees—two girls and one boy with dark curly hair—were inside. All of them saw me waiting, but no one acknowledged my presence. At 8:50, after receiving no response, I honked once to try and get their attention. Eventually, the young man with curly hair came to the window and bluntly said, "We're closed." When I pointed out that your posted hours indicate 9:00 p.m., he replied that they close a few minutes before 9. I told him I had been there since 8:45, and he defensively pointed to the crushed cone, asking why I drove over it. I explained that it was flattened to the ground and how would I know that was indicating you were closed. When I asked to speak to a manager, he responded, “Tonight is my last night here anyway, so I don’t care if you talk to the manager,” and then closed the window on me. I immediately called the store phone number to speak to someone, and he hung up on me. I’ve never been treated this way as a customer—especially not as a regular patron of your business. Whether or not that employee is returning, I urge you to address this level of unprofessionalism. It's also important that your staff clearly communicate any early closures, and properly acknowledge customers who arrive within posted business hours. If you have security footage, I hope it can confirm my experience. Thank you for your time, and I hope this can be used as a learning opportunity...
Read moreI’ve been visiting this location on the regular because it’s close too my home. It seems to take me many times to learn my lesson to not go back. Each time my order has been wrong. Today I ordered a root beer float and it was FULL of ice and one tiny scoop of ice cream. Pathetic. This is Utah, please do better with root beer floats. I called to let the manager know in hopes they could monitor things a bit better. The young lady in charge was a “shift lead”. She was very polite and apologetic but not really equipped to fix the situation. A customer should have been told come back and let me fix it for you, she apparently has not been taught that. If the owners / managers do not keep an eye on their business, their business will not do well. You get out what you put in. No properly trained personnel shows what you have put in. Spend your money wisely, where they have earned...
Read moreBest location by far!!! The frozen hot chocolate is always amazing and the cookies are beyond good, seriously I may have an issue. Mini chippers are the best to get if in stock!!! All employees are so happy and you can see them laughing and having fun while working and that’s honestly the best thing to see, employees who like their job. If you are unhappy with the drink they always remake it as well!! Lobby is super clean and bathrooms are usually immaculate! (That’s coming from a germaphobe) I genuinely don’t think I have anything negative to say besides my new addiction to mini chippers. OH! You guys have to try the coconut mist if you like coconut, I personally hate coconut but my friends order it and love it!!! Have I mentioned this is the best location??? Get out of your bed and go get a cookie you deserve it from quench it...
