very strange place. I've not been there since it was "branding iron" and even then it was odd. You walk in and the first thing you face is the restrooms, which can be bad depending on what just occurred in there.

There is always a smell of old fetid dishwater, that hasn't changed since the branding iron days.

On this visit, I was nearly overwhelmed by a different bad smell in the dining area. It was a mix of boiled old fish, body odor, restroom and dish water. Not pleasant at all. I looked around in wonder, no-one else seemed to notice it. Maybe they had become accustomed? Perhaps someone who had sat in my seat before me hadn't bathed in weeks?

I made the mistake of ordering a steak with a side salad. The side salad was pretty sad, but fresh, and the ranch dressing was literally watered down. It was like white water. I've never seen that before.

The steak was, I'm guessing, cooked in a pan. Or, possibly, boiled in a pan. It was listed in the menu as 12 oz and it looked like it had been cut down on 2 sides from a larger piece of meat to reach the exact 12 oz weight.

I was not asked how I wanted the steak prepared, and once I was served the steak I knew why. It was not evenly cooked and had portions that were well, some that were medium and some that were rare. I like options, but not that way.

If it had been a good cut of fresh meat that would possibly be interesting, but it was not, so it was pretty gross.

It's my own fault, I should have ordered something in their wheelhouse, which seems to be burgers and fries and onion rings.

Was visiting family from out of town, took my mom to church and wanted to take her to lunch after so ask and this place was recommended. So we are seated , our waitress gets our drink order but when she comes to take our food order I was helping my mom to order as her health is failing her. Took long time to get our food (it was very busy) Once we got our food we never seen our waitress again, she didn't check on us one time plus never brought out ticket. After setting for quite some time my mother was getting restless so I needed to leave. We stop to pay and I ask if they don't give tickets for your food (everyone else in line had one ) The lady was rude said sometimes they do sometimes they don't. I explained my mother had a plain tenderloin with water and I had a taco salad with lemonade . I paid my bill ask her to give me so called waitress a tip which she didn't deserve nor the amount I gave.

It's my first and last time in...

I went to Millie's with a friend to get some food after work and they told me sit anywhere and I grabbed the closest table to me which I didn't realize was dirty until I sat down then we ordered drinks and it was fine but the waitress came back over to us and greeted our table by telling us she really had to go pee and she was sorry which in retrospect is fine but like I'm here to eat and I don't know you don't talk to me about your bathroom business and then we finally got to order and they didn't have what we originally ordered so they gave us chicken fried steak that was genuinely terrible and a salad that shouldn't even count as a salad. Then to top it off we had to wait longer on silverware to eat than our actual food and the whole atmosphere of the place is just really unprofessional it's loud in the kitchen 10/10 would not recommend unless you want stale food and...
