Sizzler — Restaurant in Blythe

Hadn't been to a Sizzler in over 15 years. Loved Sizzler back when I was growing up, but stopped going when the big city location I knew, went downhill. This location in Blythe is a fantastic little gem. We have a group of friends from all over and we meet in Blythe as a central point for everyone. We decided on Sizzler for this visit, mainly based on all the positive reviews online, and this location lives up to the high rating. Friendly service, fresh and appetizing full salad bar with a few hot foods, hot soups, pasta and potato salads, and a small soft serve ice cream sundae section. Very clean, too. We arrived shortly before a packed tour bus, and thought the salad bar would be barren after the restaurant nearly completely filled up, but the staff was on top of things, refilling items and quickly getting everyone taken care of, that it did not hinder anyone's ability to get any of the foods from the bar. In addition to the salad bar, our table ordered a steak & lobster, two bacon cheeseburgers, and a Malibu chicken. Everything tasted great. Only place for improvement was that the steak was ordered medium, and arrived well done. Not a big enough issue for us; we're easy as long as it tastes good, but a finicky eater may have been bothered by the cook on it. We have found our new meeting place in Blythe! I provided 5 stars solely for the Incredible customer service and table service provided by our server (and the only one I saw in the restaurant) the evening of 10/21/23. I believe her name was Nora. We went to Sizzler for dinner with my dad during homecoming weekend. It was his 50th Reunion. We had a table of 6, including two 4yr olds. The salad bar and soups looked very old and the building is very dated. I noticed Nora was busting tables, filling drinks, delivering food, and all with a smile and kind attitude towards everyone. I never saw her flustered at what appeared to be a nightmare understaff issue. The cashier was pretty awesome too by the way. I was so impressed with our young server. I truly hope the owner recognizes the rare gem he/she has in her. When I return to Blythe Sizzler it will only be because of her. She has set a standard of service I wish many would adopt. Her positive attitude was infectious. She even had a 4 year old tell her how amazing she was and "pretty too" he said. This restaurant is super delicious! It is just like Golden Coral (if you know what that is) but with less choices, so it is less chaotic because some people would like more choices. The dining is very nice, and the ice cream there is delicious and super creamy. The floor is fairly clean for a place with l a lot of families with children and stuff. There is a lot of help here and I appreciate all of the assistance I got when I needed it. Everything is pretty easy to spot out, so you probably won't need help finding anything like I did 😂. The prices are not too high either! Sizzler is one of the best buffets I have ever been to, and I have been to a couple of buffets. Sizzler is great for large groups of people who do not really know exactly what they want to eat, until they see it. I would have to recommend Sizzler for either a dinner meal, or a lunch meal, because I have not been to Sizzler for breakfast, so I do not know if that is the best breakfast choice.
