A Must-Stop for Freshness and Fantastic Service!

My family and I stopped at The Farmer's Cup Coffee Stand in Boardman, Oregon, on our way home, and it was a fantastic decision! The location is super convenient, right off the highway, making it an ideal spot to pull over and grab a pick-me-up.

Right away, we were impressed by the "farmers" aspect of their name – they truly live up to it! As we drove up, we saw rows of what looked like tomatoes, cucumbers, and even strawberries growing nearby, which was a really nice touch and showed their commitment to fresh, local ingredients.

Despite two cars ahead of us, the line moved incredibly fast. We were served by the owner, who was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. As soon as we pulled up, he offered us complimentary fresh cherries. He then gave us samples of their very fresh lemonade – absolutely delicious and not too tart. He even offered us freshly picked cucumber bites from their garden that very morning.

The owner was helpful with suggestions, going beyond just reading off a menu. We were initially drawn to the stand because they offered Lotus drinks, and he thoughtfully suggested opting for Lotus instead of his Red Bull option to reduce the amount of chemicals in the drinks. This was something we really appreciated. We both ended up getting unique and very tasty versions of their Lotus drinks with fresh-squeezed juices, which were unlike anything we've had at other coffee stands. We frequent coffee stands often, and this was definitely a standout!

For food, we got a fresh-wrapped banana chocolate bread that we scarfed down quickly. I also got a fantastic sausage bagel. The bagel itself was clearly fresh, not pre-made, and the sausage had a unique and delicious blend of savory flavors with fresh herbs – definitely not your typical breakfast sandwich. We were able to make a slight adjustment to the menu item, which he was happy to accommodate. Everything came out very quickly with a smile.

It was also clear that this is a family-run business, and you can feel the passion and care they put into everything. The owner mentioned that in July or August, they'll have locally grown watermelon, which he said is comparable to Hermiston watermelon due to the proximity of the cities. What truly impressed us is that he only picks his watermelons at peak ripeness and personally samples them before selling, ensuring top quality for his customers. We are very excited to try it on our next trip through! Overall, The Farmer's Cup offers excellent drinks, fresh food, great prices, and exceptional service. This will definitely be a continuous stop for us whenever we're in the area....

I recently visited The Farmer's Cup and was thoroughly impressed by my experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with warm lighting and comfortable seating. The baristas were friendly and knowledgeable, taking the time to make recommendations and answer any questions I had about the menu.

The coffee itself was top-notch, with a rich and smooth flavor. I tried a latte and was blown away by the artful presentation and delicious taste. The menu offered a good variety of options, from classic espresso drinks to more unique and seasonal offerings.

In addition to the coffee, the shop also offered a selection of pastries and light bites that looked delicious, though I didn't have a chance to try them on this visit. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality of the products.

Overall, I highly recommend this coffee shop to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee and a relaxing atmosphere. I can't wait to go back and try more of...

My husband and I are new to the PNW and we stopped in for breakfast/coffee on our way to a hike, and boy are we glad we did! The owner and her son were so sweet and welcoming. They gave us samples to try, recommended items to order, and even recommended other cool hikes/site seeing for us to do around the area. Not to mention, we loved every single thing we got! I got the butterbeer latte and breakfast sandwich, and my husband got the campfire mocha and cheddar jalapeño bagel sandwich, all of which were absolutely delicious. We also got cherries (the best we’ve ever had by the way) and a slice of chocolate chip banana bread that was perfectly soft and sweet. We had our pup in the car, so we got everything to go, but the atmosphere was very cute and cozy, so we would’ve loved to sit down and relax if we could. We live about an hour away, but can’t...

What a wonderful stop. I'm a truck driver and was looking for somewhere to take a break for the night, I pulled in in the early evening, and I'm happy I stopped here. I saw the owner after hours and asked about overnight parking, and he said I was more than welcome to stay out here, and showed me where to park so I was out of the way (along the edge of the lot, where the red arrow is in the picture). This morning I went in to get some breakfast, and after trying a sample of the Cactus Juice I was hooked. A great morning drink, a good breakfast sandwich, and a good conversation means I'll definitely be back any time I'm through here. Highly recommended!

I drive semi and have been loading just down the road from this place for a while now and finally decided to stop after reading reviews that said there's truck parking. First off, THANK YOU for being truck parking friendly!! (or any large vehicle) I wish more places would realize they'd open themselves up to a much larger customer base when they just add a little more space. We like good coffee too! Easy in and out for trucks. Good menu options, reasonable prices, very friendly service, and cute little seating area. Most important, my drink was awesome! Thank you, I'll definitely be back again.
