Food is good when you get it, but service is terrible. I called ahead to place an order, thank God I did, because it was 20 minutes after I walked in before anyone acknowledged me... and it was a guy who had been sitting at the counter since before I walked in. When I finally got an employee, they asked if I was a to-go order, to which I told them I was actually planning to eat in but called ahead. I then told them I think the order on the counter in a to-go carton was for me, as it had my name on it. They told me to go ahead and take a seat, which I did. 8 minutes later, a different waitress asked me for my order and I repeated that I think my food was already done and in the carton but I was planning to eat there at the table. Another 8 minutes later the first waitress brought the carton over in plastic to-go bag, along with my soda still in the bottle rather than a cup. I decided to go ahead and leave, as they clearly didn't think I should be eating in there. On my way out I wanted to let the 2nd waitress know my service was bad, to which the first waitress who over heard me explain all of this just simply replied "OK, goodbye". Naturally, my food is cold, despite me asking if it was even still warm and if it could be reheated as I was told it was still warm. Luckily, despite being cold and the not-cute kind of bad attitude, the chicken tenders were still great. The burger defenitely suffered from being cold, as did the fries. This just in: I was also overcharged. Not by much, but I was (a dollar and 8 cents) and after the bad in house service I feel like this just made it worth being upset about as well. I ordered a burger, a chicken tender basket and a diet pepsi, which adds up to $28.77 based on their online menu, or $30.92 after Florida's standard 7.5% tax. So you can't even trust their online menu to be customer friendly. Made me drop from 2 stars to 1 star when I noticed. I'll remove this part if someone contacts me to let me know they at least fixed the online menu's prices to make sure they are accurate to what people...

Trying to find a pet friendly restaurant for dinner in key west that isn’t over priced. Not looking for Prime Rib and Lobster, just some normal American standard food. We finally gave up and headed out to the other Islands, had seen many on the road in, took our chances. Well, just down the road East of NAS Boca Chica gate is a great local place! Sign outside says Home-cooking! We pulled in . No problem with parking, not real busy. Quaint inside with a dozen tables. Also patio outback with bar and another half dozen tables. The patio is pet friendly and in fact another dog was already there. The staff is exceptional! Very friendly . Prices are great! Most under $20 but the portions are large. First ordered stuffed mushrooms with fresh local crab meat! What a difference fresh makes! Great flavor. Ordered kw shrimp broiled, with squash for side and fries- 12 shrimp perfectly cooked still juicy. Seafood sauce is fresh- horse still kicking in the horseradish sauce! Squash not over grilled! Fries great. Husband had Grouper sandwich- awesome too. Had a local singer for entertainment That was great too! For those here fishing, they will cook your catch for...

Food is good ... The service and atmosphere are definitely going down ... When i walk in i shouldnt have to hear the "boss" telling other customers about some immature boy she fired for insubordination and that he texted her daughter a huge text ... Also the walls need a make over repaint or clean up they are filled with speakles of dirt grim and food every where ... The service is not going that great either all the servers rather stand at the bar and speak with those customers rather than speak with there tables then they forget to bring you things after they offered or you asked ... I always order 2 drinks because i can never get a refill fast enough and being pregnant i drink alot of water ... Just not the same anymore and for being a local to be treated that way is no good ... Reguardless of tourism we help put money back in to our...

What a find - thanks to a local recommendation. We Loved it! Huge outdoor courtyard patio. Live music every night. Very casual and airy. Great house "10-mile margaritas"!! We tried a little bit of everything. Crab stuffed mushrooms were fresh and delicious. Mango chicken wings were fabulous with a little kick in the end. Thin crust pizza was great with crispy crust and just the right amount of sauce and toppings. Chicken ceaser wrap was also very good. Grouper sandwich was grilled perfectly. Conch fried dinner was also very good. Portions were generous and well priced. Must try the key line pie - it didn't disappoint with maragyne (sp?) Topping. My guess is everything is good here. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Quick service and all the staff really seemed to work together. Will definitely go back.

Cute island decor, but that's the only thing this place has going for it. The restaurant had a strong musty smell when we walked in. Service was inattentive and frustrating—we had to ask three times for napkins while eating peel-n-eat shrimp, and never got them. My husband ended up walking into the kitchen to get some. The food was disappointing. Dry fish, overcooked shrimp (despite waiting 30 minutes), and a potato salad full of oversized celery chunks. We also ran out of drinks and were never offered a refill until the check arrived—then we were asked if we wanted tea to go. ~ No, we wanted tea with the meal. Overall, it was a poor dining experience. We do not recommend. ➡️ Follow us on Socials for more detailed travel tips & restaurant reviews @ @Sweet_Southern_Living

We eat here 2 or 3 times a week 7 months out of the year. Good home cooking, friendly staff, good pizza. But that doesn't capture the best part, it is the genuine caring of the owners and staff for the patrons. 3 Years later... all good still with some beautiful improvements in the back including live outdoor music. Pizza is still excellent and the servers are pleasant, genuine, and efficient. The owners are no nonsense about quality and consistency. Tina and, lately, daughter Amber manage the dinning areas and bars with aplomb on the busiest occasions. It can get buzzing in season, but we always manage to find a parking place and they always find us a table.
