Okay. This was the strangest place I've ever eaten at. It was like I was getting lunch in Stephen King's Derry Maine. If they people started transforming into crazy monsters I would not have been surprised. I would have ran out but I wouldn't have been surprised. One lady was wearing a massive adult diaper which was showing through her skin tight, way too short dress. She would sit up against a wall and just stare you down. I mean right into your eyes. While you are trying to eat. Another was dressed like a dire Pippy Long Stockings and skipped around like she was 14. Another lady looked like the blonde waitress from the show True Blood, not sookie, and she ran around talking very loudly and rudely but to herself. She would randomly holler out to the room, not looking at anyone, "does anyone need anything". There was a very lumpy lady with lumps all over who walked around aimlessly. Even the patrons were very strange. I left as soon as I could. That's not even the half of it. I cannot convey how weird it was. It was like they weren't real people and didn't quite know how to act or dress like real people. If they would have started howling I wouldn't have been surprised. It was reminiscent of the scene in rohld Dahl's witches where the witches were at the convention and started to transform. Absolutely strange. I will never go back. At least not without silver bullets and some holy water.
Edit to respond to Bogalusa grill I didn't review the food because your staff was so absolutely weird that I didn't eat the food. Couldn't tell you how it tasted. Who can eat with the staff dressing up like it's Halloween (it was September) and running around shouting at no one and staring directly into your eyes? I will add that the tea I had was watery and I didn't finish it. I was also rudely scolded by the lady who hollers at everyone. Apparently I was supposed to wait for her to bring the drink although there was no indication of that as 4 other people were making their own drinks since the lady was busy yelling at the room in general. She's also the same lady who I complemented, saying she looked like so and so from True Blood. Had I had anything else to complement I would have. Scroll through my reviews. Focus on improving the atmosphere to the point where people feel comfortable enough to eat and providing decent service and a person might have something decent to say...
Read moreI love this place on Wednesday... Their lasagna is rolling especially fresh. I love their banana pudding as well. I have to put in time to take off so that I can go there and fix my own plate bc regardless of how I explain over the phone they deliver a $10 plate, even when I say I want lasagna, sides? lasagna and lasagna and a plate of banana pudding, I don't get that so I lose $9 and some change for taking off 30 mins. My husband says their BBQ porkchops and fried chicken is off the chain.. idk I eat lasagna. They won't fix a salad to bring to you but their salad bar is amazing, it's across the dining room and new ppl like my self didn't know that the first few times and cake is in the mid section of...
