Time Out Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Bogalusa

Tonight my wife and I went with a group of 14 to eat dinner. I called ahead to alert them of the group size to ensure they could accommodate, which they did. The orders were taken at about 6:15pm for the whole table and all food but two was delivered about 6:45pm. At around 7:10pm and multiple apologies were made by the wait staff. At 7:25pm I advised the waitress that I would not be paying for order and requested the manager.

Chris (the owner) came out about 10 minutes later and had a terrible attitude, advising me that the waitress canceled the order. Chris stated that he had previously told the waitress to relay to me that he already stated to give 50% off of the order which was not relayed to me by the waitress at all.

From this point, he explained that mistakes happen (which I agree) and said something I've never heard from a owner, much less an owner.

Chris "if you don't come back here again, that's fine".

He explained that this happens all the time if I ever go out to eat. He then walked away and that was the end of this episode. We've went to this location and his BBQ location many times and have never had this type of experience at either facility. We as locals attempt to keep our money in the town, we will not be returning to either place of...

As far as bogalusa places go, it is pretty good. People out of town will be irritated by a few things. For one, they dont have a drink menu. A 16oz draft is 4.50 and a bottle is 2.75, but you wont know until you get your bill. Others were ordering speciality drinks but we had no idea what they were. A simple laminated flyer would have been awesome. Heck, make up a few speciality drinks (to punch or endzonerita?) and we would have ordered. The pizza, burgers, and salads were good. The apps were alright. Apps we had were typical previously frozen fried bar food. The interior was decorated nice and clean. Management was responsive. Next time we are in town, i will stop by to see how things are going. They got 4 stars because they are new and i am pretty sure they will get these details fixed soon. No reason to drive to chimes...

We have tried this restaurant multiple times, hopeful it was just a “bad night”… Apparently not so much, every time we were there something we wanted to order was not available. The food is extremely overpriced for how basic and bland it actually is… And who grills a wrap that has lettuce & tomato inside of it? Thats just GROSS! It is always extremely loud in there and the wait staff is always expressing their personal life problems with the people at that bar, as well as in and out smoking on the front porch while serving tables; EWE! Then the last time we were there one of a server’s children was running around & yelling! The final straw was when we got the bill we discovered we were charged 50cents each for a glass of TAP WATER- really you charge customers for Bogalusa tap water!?? Disappointing...
